The Hog's head is one of the main Friday and Saturday night pubs in the town. It can get a bit rowdy from time to time and there will always be a couple of bouncers floating about on the weekend shifts. The drinks are a mix of largers and a few ales on tap and your expected wines and spirits. You can get cheap bottles of wine i you are on a budget.
They have a pool table out back and serve a range of regular pub grub like sausage and mash. The food is passable, but not particularly exceptional. Still, you can get a meal and a pint for about a fiver at certain times, so I guess you pay for what you get.
They show a lot of the big sport events and have ample seating for larger groups.
