Awesome overall experience having quite a few traditional Czech dishes I can check of my list of…read more"must try" items! We came here for a working lunch keen on trying more local popular foods. It's located a little outside of downtown Prague but definitely drivable or Uber/Mass transport accessible for anyone wanting to visit. The restaurant's atmosphere almost forces you to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the positive feel of the overall environment. As per what I'm becoming accustomed to here, the wait staff was super helpful in breaking down the menu which was solely in Czech. Big piece of advice, be prepared to use Google Translate or a similar app to help understand what you're getting on top of asking questions. The beef tartare was the most "adventurous" we got during this dining experience and enjoyed it overall. Only word of caution with the tartare is to share an initial order with your party just in case the unique textures, spices, raw meat, and overall experience of the item is a little off putting for some. I enjoyed it overall, but some in the group passed on second bites. Also, be sure to eat it like the locals by vigorously rubbing your garlic on the fried bread and adding the micro-greens to a heaping bite. For me, the fried bread and garlic took it to the next level. Of final note were the Czech pancakes. A single order had five pancakes which was enough to share between 2-3 people depending on how ravenous one is for a sweet treat. All in all, a great place to dine if you're in the area or want something a little outside of the touristy areas of Prague. We enjoyed everything!
