My great grandfather started clean sweep in 1964 in blythe just shy of newcastle, my greatgrandfather move to london, barkingside where my grandfather worked. My grandfather took over clean sweep in 1971 and my father took over in 1993. It was when we moved into Torquay we decided to start a sister company Hodgsons Chimney Sweeps in 2017. Clean sweep chimney services is still running throughout London and the home counties.
