It makes the art pop that much more. Edgewood has artwork from more than 100 artists in a wide range of media: paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood, jewelry. I left with a coaster for my father that had a dragonfly on it (a special symbol to our family). There is artwork in every price range here, so you can leave with a little bit of Door County artwork no matter your budget.

My only quibble is that the seating was super tight for dinner. It felt like we were right on top of one another, but again, that's completely minor. The grounds are fantastic native grasses and flowers. I just can't get over how wonderful the entire experience was as a wedding guest.

The farm was originally built by our daughter's great-grandparents so had a special meaning to our family and friends. Joslyn was our day of wedding planner and made the entire experience seamless from beginning to end. Matt her husband also served as one of our bartenders. They are knowledgeable and have a very calm and centered approach to organization and execution of the entire wedding experinece. Inside we found numerous paintings that we enjoyed and once again, they offer items in different price ranges. They had beautiful wood pieces that would look wonderful in a home. Besides being beautiful, they seemed to have been made with a quality that will last forever. I also found several artists (jewelry) that I will continue to look for and support. If I remember correctly, all of their artists were local or if not from the region around Wisconsin, they were all from the states. The 2 ladies also gave us excellent references for places to eat while we were in the area!

This is such a neat spot in Green Bay. The first room you walk into is just filled with art from…read morelocal artists and they're always switching the art based on a theme or specific exhibit. The last time I was here for Gallery Nite and my favorite art was a painting over newspapers. If you looked closely at the people's skin you can see the printing from the newspaper. The second room is more of an event space. For Gallery Nite, they had vendor tables, some food, and music. I went here for a Cork and Canvas event that was in this room and there had to be around 50 people at that event. It's a great space to take a class or event have your own smaller event. More people from Green Bay need to check this place out!

Sadly, the markers/paint was not out for people to leave their graffiti due to COVID but we had a great time finding the markings we left 2 years prior (and we found one!!!). The outside of the gallery is much more interesting than the inside; you could spend a good chunk of time just looking at the messages and artwork on all 4 sides of this shed-like building. They must clean it up so people can paint over the bottom 6 feet, where most people can reach). We only were able to find our initials as my husband creatively wrote them up very, very high (I think at one point I may have been trying to hold him up, hahahaha). Outside and around the gallery is a fantastic location for photos and to sit and enjoy the sunshine and/or water. I have been there when the Lake was wave and the waves washed over the dock - so be careful when you visit if you do not want to get wet or cold! I would say the Hardy Gallery is a must-see, even if you only stop for a moment and especially if you are on the western side of Door County.

I didn't realize there was one until I was about to head out and by that point I've been in there long enough I didn't wanna have the kiddos start freaking out. They have art of almost any medium here. There were some really beautiful earrings various precious stones; ruby, diamond, emerald. They had oil paintings, acrylics, and encaustic; woodworking watercolors. I really loved the hanging mosaics that I saw here. I'd love to have one of those to hang in one of the windows in my kitchen, but I'm just not sure what the right size would be. Luckily they have a website so I may take a look at them again sometime. The employee was very friendly and welcoming offered to let me try on the jewelry that I was interested in. If I return to Door County I will surely be back and I'll be following their Instagram, too. I'm not sure if there is dedicated parking for this place, but there's lots of street parking since this is a pretty popular tourist destination.

I did buy a couple of baskets. They had some really cool art in the back, but they were prints so I skipped them. The originals have been made with leaves and other botanicals to create some really interesting work, but it didn't have the same impact for me as a simple print. The shop carries a lot of home decor sorts of things like baskets, vases, bowls, candles, and that sort of thing. Also they have a wide selection of jewelry. I almost forgot about wanting to stop here until I checked the Yelp collection I made, and we didn't pass the store when wandering along Main Street because it was separated from most of the other shops to some extent, being next door to a restaurant and one other shop but removed from the bulk of the shopping area. So if you want to stop by keep your eyes peeled.

He was great at explaining and keeping things interesting while unobtrusively assisting when help was needed. In terms of price, our session was about the same as I paid for a similar glass-blowing event elsewhere. The big difference is that we were far more involved in every step of the process and we got to design our own pieces - the type (cup, vase, ornament, paperweight, etc.), the overall shape (short/tall/wide/flared) and the colors. It was a great time and I definitely recommend it as a fantastic afternoon excursion.
