This was a pleasant find as I was at the point in our trip where I was craving Taiwanese food. Service was good and dishes were decently authentic. You order on a QR code (there's WiFi at the restaurant) and the staff brings out your food. Very spacious inside with Taiwanese wall art of night markers and classic movie posters. The boba milk tea was very good, and so was the pork chop rice (although the rice was on the drier side, the pork chop itself was fried well and was well seasoned without being overly salty). I want to love Hocha, because the first time was not so bad. I ordered a drink to go, and it was quick and painfree. This time, I ordered one drink and one dry noodle dish. There were only maybe 2 or 3 tables currently in the restaurant and maybe 5-6 employees, yet it took my to-go noodles 20 minutes. When they brought it to me, they didn't apologize for the wait or at least let me know that it was almost ready. I asked about 2 times during the 20 minutes. When I brought it home to finally eat it, the noodles were completely clumped together. BUT, on a positive note - the meat sauce is very authentic taiwanese. Flavor is great!
