Just walk into any toy department and it feel like all your senses are under attack. From the garish colors and cheap materials to the god-awful sounds that these things emit, you wonder what evil spirit possessed the people who designed them. That's why places like Si Tu Veux should be classified as national living treasures because the survival of the human race depends on them! This oasis of kid calm is aptly located in the chic Passage Vivienne next to other classy shops. The selection here is pitch perfect. Every item seems to have been selected with careful thought and consideration by the owner, a lovely woman who will, if you ask, tell you what kind of toy would be most appropriate for your child given his or her age. With my little one in tow, she selected a few toys for him to try out and we all agreed on this amazing DNA-strand-like construct made out of colored wood and bouncy string that my baby immediately gobbled up and slathered his approval onto. Not only is it super to look at, it's also one of his favorite toys. And I've never seen it anywhere else so the owner must have chosen it from some obscure manufacturer (or at least that's what I told myself to justify its slightly elevated price).

The clerk told us not for babies but our girl is very very petit and old enough for such a thing. They have waldorf animals as well and I wish I had purchased a fox there. It was very entertaining to walk around the store. I loved the Toy Story sculptures as well as the French themed dioramas. This is a pricey store but if you just want to buy a set of three Lego men you can do that for about 8 Euro. My favorite detail was that one of the French Lego men was holding a croissant. Nonetheless, the Lego Store in Disney Village is a fun stop before getting on the train to go back to the heart of the city.

The beanstalk goes in and out of the shop, there's an adorable garden outside and a cute carousel inside. This shop has the usual Disney fare from stuffed animals to cute kids clothes to candies. My friend and I had a fantastic experience here. I bought a few things and she bought a few things - in particular she bought thick slipper socks because she was freezing! She accidently bought child size socks, opened them, tried them on and then thought doh! We went back to our same cashier who was so friendly, allowed us to exchange the slipper socks and helped us find the adult size. Ahhhh, gotta love the Disney service!

I think I spent half an hour looking at all the amazing Little Prince items. This little shop has books, journals, bookmarks, mugs, dishes, scarves, shirts, postcards, stuffed animals, bags, toys, figurines, cards, pictures, baby bibs, cookie cutters, key chains, onesies... Anything and everything Little Prince! The owner is super friendly and very nice to talk to. The music is calming, the shop is orderly and well stocked. This was the best store I've visited my whole trip in Europe! Next time I'm in Paris, I'll visit again for sure! I can't recommend this lovely little store highly enough- just visit you'll be so glad you did!
