I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves attention.
I returned an online order within the stated 90-day return window, with proof of purchase, and followed the store's instructions. Despite that, I was told the refund could NOT be issued back to my original payment method and that only store credit would be provided due to "system limitations" between online and in-store purchases.
What followed was hours of confusion, conflicting instructions from staff and management, and repeated customer service emails that ultimately confirmed there is no ability to issue a refund to the original card--even when the return is valid and within policy.
This is not a small detail. The website states items can be returned within 90 days, which reasonably implies a standard refund if the return is valid. That is not what actually happens when returning online orders in-store.
After multiple attempts to resolve this, I was still offered only store credit or conditional workarounds, not a refund.
At minimum, customers deserve clear, upfront disclosure that online purchases returned in-store will NOT be refunded to the original payment method. That is a significant and misleading gap in expectation vs. reality.
I am sharing this so other customers are not surprised after the fact the way I was. read more
