The same problem consists each and every time--ONE cash open and a line up for days. It seems that Shoppers is not only the place to purchase bus tickets, but it is also the place to gamble your money away on LOTTERY TICKETS and SCRATCH CARDS, which makes the line move very-S-L-O-W-L-Y, especially after each customer checks their cards to see if they are a winner! I waited in line for 10 minutes while customers put up a fit behind me. On a positive note, it was good entertainment! In all reality though, this re-occurrence is a pain in the butt, and is an inconvenience especially if you are in a rush. Now, if you like gambling, it seems like this is the place to go on a Friday night!

After completing my transaction, I decided to visit Shoppers, which was steps away. The store has probably been here for a while, but it is big and bright. I looked at the nail polish section. There was a good sale happening. I like Revlon these days and noticed that bottles were going for $3.99 each. Perfect! I bought a bottle and kept on browsing. What typically happens to me is that I go into Shoppers and end up with more items than I thought I would buy. Yep, it happened here! I finally decided to pay for my items before picking up more stuff. I had a cheerful woman cashing me out. I decided to redeem points for $10 off. I like the flexibility of PC Optimum Points. Sometimes, I end up accumulating so many points that I need to remind myself to spend some. It was great. I paid perhaps $3 after all the dust had settled and I was good. Customers tend to be older in this neighbourhood. I like how patient this woman was with folks. It has a community, small town feel when you shop here. (287)

A year ago, I had to ask them to remove my credit card after my mom was ordering over $200 every two days in pharmacy items by herself. Two months ago, due to her condition, she accidentally overdosed on her medication, leading to poisoning and a long hospital stay. I called the pharmacy, and despite doctor's orders for a blister pack, they sent the old prescription in a bottle. When I asked them to follow the new doctor's instructions, they demanded additional documents already sent by the hospital, causing confusion for both the family and hospital staff. When my mom was discharged, they refused to provide the blister pack until the following Tuesday, a week later. After a second poisoning incident, they delivered a bottle of Advil disregarding my advice not to deliver any over the counter items and not bottles of pills to her, which she took too quickly, leading to another hospitalization. When I asked them to take safety measures, they dismissed my concerns and even suggested I take the SIM card from my mom's phone. Their negligence has led to multiple hospitalizations and put my mom's health at risk. I can no longer trust them and will be taking our business elsewhere.
