I was looking for a photographer to do last minute maternity photos, so I texted the number I found on her Yelp page. She was quick to respond, and while she isn't currently doing sessions due to COVID, etc, she was kind enough to suggest some other options. I thought it was sweet of her to go above and beyond, and to take the time to spend with me even though someone else would potentially be getting my business. She was so kind and helpful, and I can imagine she'd be wonderful to work with. Looking forward to giving her a call in the future!

At the end of the photoshoot, she felt like family. Ginny, the pup, was even sweet on her by the end of it. Ally was very generous with her time. We opted for a two-hour photoshoot. Half way through, the older generations were calling it quits. Ally encouraged us to use the rest of the time for ourselves. Not only did we get a family photoshoot, but also professional head shots and a handful of engagement shots.

WRONG!!!…read more After contemplating a traditional wedding that involves parents, guests, caterers, lots of money, and even more fighting, we decide, what the hell, let's just elope!! At the last moment. Perfect....what do we need....minister....check.....car and driver....check....photographer....let me defer to the soon to be wife on that one! So, wife to be does her research and gets good ground level intel and gives Amy at And How! a call. She saw her work and heard great things about her. Wednesday is the wedding day...and she was calling on MONDAY. (I wasn't lying when I said it was at the last moment). Even though Amy had a shoot booked for that day, she so kindly rearranged things a little and, BAM, we got ourselves a photographer. Wife to be had several ideas of locations, shots, and even examples of what she wanted. Amy loved all of that and there was a lot of back and forth between the two to come up with some great locations. On the big day, Amy was right on time and ready to go. We had a blast with her as we drove to a bunch of different locations throughout Nashville. She had some great ideas, and between her and my wife, we really ended up with a ton of amazing pictures. Honestly, after seeing what my wife wanted to duplicate and seeing what Amy actually shot, I thought that Amy's work was better time and time again. Amy was great to work with and actually made the entire process a lot of fun...which is no small task with me. I loved her and her creativity and the way she worked. Thanks Amy!!

The whole experience was designed around my daughter. Erin spent time before the session getting to know here and helping her make clothing choices for the shoot. For the full Session we had makeup done and Erin was there to oversee every detail. The locations she had scouted were fantastic. She caught every hair that was blowing and every wrinkle and fixed them. Nothing was rushed, nothing was time over. From the full shoot to now, my daughter lost weight. Erin designed a mini session to allow her to capture some of the new look as well. We couldn't have been happier. I have to admit to being a true skeptic about the whole Senior pictures idea.
