KEB had my business for a few years and seemed to do a great job…read more I informed the firm I would be hiring a bookkeeper to keep costs low. They thought that was a great idea. When I hired an internal book keeper, consequently that reduced my business to their firm. I was shocked when this reduction in business led to a higher cost! Upon calling I was notified that for years I was being given a "discount" and would now be paying full price. Because there is no documentation of this discount, it appeared to me as an attempt to squeeze more revenue out of me when I cut business. I ended up contacting my rep to tell him of my concerns and how I thought the timing was weird. He didn't seem bothered so I told him I would take my business elsewhere. The next thing I knew he sent me a short letter saying he was terminating me as a client. No "sorry to see you go" or "let us know if we can do better." Odd experience for sure. Act like a human for goodness sake.
