Today's shopping did not disappoint. I did find a few gift items to take home for friends and family. I went in originally to get the 6 pack of Hefeweizen beer- I love that they are in plastic bottles- so much lighter to carry home with me- plus they are wrapped together, so easier to pack. An added bonus was they had the special cookies my husband asked for, the ones the other 2 stores did not have. As well as the adorable little Octoberfest mixer minis. Such a cute gift idea. I will always pop in here to look, cuz you never know what fun treasures you will find. However, I always find the store has an odd smell. Plus it doesn't appear to be that clean or tidy inside. The staff is plenty friendly, and happy to help you look for items.

Not only is it a fabulous neighborhood store but it is actually a destination store. I used to travel across town to go to "fancy Edeka" for specialty items but now I have my own fancy Edeka down the street.
