However, about a year ago, they raised the rate significantly. I guess they figured that everybody would be parking there for the Milwaukee Bucks games, or they were losing money because of the move of the symphony to Wisconsin Avenue. They used to allow me to charge my electric vehicle from the 110 outlets on the post. However, they indicate that I could no longer do that. Also, I used to be able to park my expensive Harley Davidson motorcycle in the garage. They no longer allow me to do that. I was a constant at Garage for three years, but no longer parked there as it is an inconvenient 7-15 min walk to get to downtown buildings.

I provided PRRS with proof of original payment, my correspondence with customer support, expressed my attempt to pay before the time limit expired, everything they asked for, etc. They did not care. Got a ticket for $80, sent a pic of original payment, along with $20 to cover the 2 hour and 5 min since the 3 hour charge is $11.75. They sent me a letter with my check saying they weren't able to verify prepayment, even though I sent them the parking receipt with the plate number. Also, if I paid $60 they would consider it paid in full. I'm gonna try one more time, all the same things I did before. They can accept or go to collections and I'll have to dispute it I guess. This is BY FAR the worst parking structure in the city. I should know, because I parked here for…read moreclose to 15 years. When I stopped working downtown one of the things I was most looking forward to was never having to park in this dump again. As some background, it's the oldest parking structure in the city - when you see the exterior, it actually looks like an office building. Interesting history lesson aside, there are SO many reasons not to park here: 1. The structure is old as noted above, and it isn't properly maintained. That means you can expect chunks of concrete or limescale water drips to fall on your car. In some places, there are giant holes in the floor covered with big metal plates. Totally safe, I'm sure. 2. The elevator. Yes, there is one (coffin sized) but it's often out of order for months at a time. Due to lack of upkeep, the elevator shaft floods any time there's a heavy rain or snowmelt. Sometimes the doors don't shut all the way so you can admire each and every floor as you pass it. Totally safe, I'm sure. 3. Let's say you don't mind the stairs (or that you're forced to take them because the elevator is out of service...again). Well, expect it to be poorly lit with dangerous crumbling cement steps. Totally safe, I'm sure. 4. No security. Sure, there are attendants (who totally aren't paying any attention to anything, ever). But there are no cameras so if someone hits your car, too bad for you. This happened to me about 1.5 years ago and cost me almost $3000 in damages because some asshole hit my front end and drove off. They structure people admitted "it could" have been one of their valets but because there was no proof they refused to do anything. 5. There's only one ramp up and down and it's only wide enough for one car. That means if you're leaving the office at 4 and all of the meatheads from Gold's are coming in there will be lots of backing up and standoffs. Totally safe, I'm sure. 6. The staff is the WORST. Indifferent at best, in most cases they are totally rude - there's a reason this structure seems to cycle through managers on a regular basis. I've seen how carelessly the valets here drive & park the cars, and of course, they won't be responsible for any damages they cause. Be aware that if you're using the valet parking service at 735 City Center, it's this place that runs it. You're better off parking at any of the other structures within a block or so of this place.

I had a very unfortunate experience with one of the valet workers named Kenny who admitted to bending a rim on my vehicle while coming around a turn. I collected his information, and attempted to call him later that night to settle things, but he was gone so I was told to call back Monday for a supervisor named Brenda. Upon calling back, Brenda not only had a bad / uncooperative attitude, but she was downright disrespectful. When I talked to her, she tried twisting the facts / truth saying that Kenny hadn't done anything (despite admitting that he did). She didn't want the company to take responsibility for damages that they caused to my vehicle. Instead of being honest, she attempted to lie and resorted to unethical business. She called me into her office on several occasions and continued to twist the story / facts, attempting to pin the damage caused by Kenny on me. Very unethical business and sketchy service. I would stay away from this place if at all possible. Unfortunately I have to go here for the gym. I should note that I have no problems with Kenny or the other valets, all do a great job. Just one unfortunate incident in dealing with Brenda tarnished my experience. There are exceptional workers that go above and beyond like Dom that deserve a lot of credit.

It looked like this company owned several parking lots/garages in the area. The first one I selected had a $12-ish going rate and then I found this one. I could reserve it online for a 2hr slot, select the times, and best of all it was free! Upon arrival we entered the garage without issue. But then signage was not very clear what to do if you booked ahead and reserved as it stated there was a fee to park there. The email said to scan the reservation upon leaving but offered no QR or bar code. The signage at the garage was under a different company's name. Other signage stated not to use the ramp to exit and to find the elevator. This proved difficult to locate and when we finally did it was within a locked glass area. Unfortunately we ended up using the ramp anyway. When it was time to leave, we exited without having to scan and I received confirmation digitally that we had completed the transaction at no cost. Overall I can't complain about being free, but had we not booked ahead would it have been different? For someone with parking anxiety like myself, it was quite frustrating. But the garage overall was clean and well kept. It was lit and offered ample parking.

And Central couldn't even bother to send a bill before they pass this to collections. The cherry on top is that the collection letter is dated 12/18, but not mailed till 12/30. Trying every angle they can get. I plan to complain to Central Parking (though finding a phone number looks like a challenge), to city/county of Milwaukee, in case Central contracts with them to run these lots, and to the MMAC (or BID if any), which would presumably want customers to have a pleasant experience @ downtown businesses.
