Keep an eye on your pay stubs. They were a week late on my paycheck and when I did get it, it…read morewasn't the full amount owed. I know they withhold first weeks pay and I accounted for that. The payweek for calculating hourly wage was Sun-Sat and paid on Fridays. I started with them on Nov 16th (Thursday) and worked 29 hours on that payweek ending Sat. which ofcourse was withheld as expected, however the following Friday 24th I still didn't receive pay. I called them (around 8:30 Tuesday morning Nov. 28th) and the lady who answered told me she'd call me back when her boss was available, they never called back. I called again that afternoon around 3:30-4:00 pm and I got in touch with the boss and he confirmed I was supposed to be paid the 24th and told me it would show on my next paycheck the following payday. I said ok because I didn't have much choice, but I stopped showing up to work for them for obvious reasons. Now we are at Friday Dec. 1st, I got paid for 1 workweek Nov. 19th-26th (60 hours) so where is my money from 16th-18th(29 hours) or from the last 10 hours I worked Monday 27th?

Former Employee I guess my true rating would be 2 1/2 stars…read more There are pros and cons, and things you need to know beforehand. I worked at the Godiva Chocolate facility as a seasonal temp employee 2016, 2017, and 2018. I would be there now if my nerves weren't shot. First, the cons: If you have ADD, beware. Packing and picking require great attention to detail, and if noise distracts you, you will want to stay away. I have gotten to where I cannot not work around music (especially if it's loud or had a loud bass), or people singing (often loudly), whistling, or talking loudly or whooping. Earplugs were not much help for me. The order lists have to be checked very, very carefully, and it got to where I was reading the list several times because I couldn't concentrate. Not good when there is a tight deadline! Also, from Thanksgiving Day till about Christmas Eve, you will work 10 hour shifts EVERY DAY unless something happens. Then for most people, the assignment will end. Now the pros: At the Godiva facility, it is kept chilly to keep the chocolate from melting, so you will not get hot and sweaty there. The Radial employees and the fellow Adecco temps--even the loud ones--are usually nice, helpful people, and there is a sense of teamwork. During the Thanksgiving-Christmas Eve period, you will likely be paid $10/hr. Finally, there are special days when the company provides meals or snacks. Things you need to know: First, good luck with getting anyone to return you call! So go to Adecco at 901 Hollie Dr. with 2 ID forms, one of which MUST be your Social Security number! You must pass a drug test that day. The work is fast-paced. Have reliable transportation. Stock up on solid red or solid black T-shirts. Wear comfortable shoes. You might want to buy a lunch bag with an ice pack, and a water bottle. You might also want to buy ear plugs!
