Finally, I've never had to pay while I went to car to the gates, where there are offices, and also because 55 places twice. Something else to say, the park is a safe place, we must finally always be careful, for outdoor games. The spaces wood own, without thorns, are extended herborées invitations to ball games, the aisles to move in park, very well made. And there is always room, I can assure you. I repeat, it's so large and you if you do not the slightest sense of direction, it is advisable, if not let rocks, at least to note your successive directions. It is surprising (but so much the better) that Paris and banks lieusards do not go over the park at Saint-Cloud! Mind you, this place is open to all ages. Once he let us to the shoe area, he yelled at my best friend for not hearing correctly as she was not even facing him. My friend cried afterward, thanks a lot back alley bowling. He then continued to roll his eyes at us numerous times. I do NOT recommend this bowling spot if you are looking to have a fun evening.

I made a reservation to go bowling on a Saturday night at BFS two weeks in advance without any problem. This was both wonderful, and disconcerting at the same time. I had already called three bowling places around Paris who told me they were "complet" on Saturday night. So why was BFS so available for my group of 20? I took a walk by on Saturday afternoon to check out the place and saw it overrun by screaming kids and their underwhelmed parents (note: don't go bowling on a Saturday afternoon). The place is a little tricky to find being that it's located in an alley between two big apartment buildings, and the inside was a bit lackluster-- no music, depressing lighting, minimal decor. At this point, however, there was no looking back. Saturday night, nine out of the 20 of us showed up together, and the staff took care of us immediately. They told me that we'd have 3 lanes instead of 4 as originally planned, but that we'd all be next to each other, fair enough. They were running a little behind schedule which was no problem for us since we were still waiting for the other half of the group. Naturally, we headed over to the bar to warm up. Pints and cocktails here are around 6€, not too bad for Paris standards, but not the bowling alley prices I'd expected. Snacks include tartines, sandwichs au jambon et fromage, kind of airport French food. Although clearly overwhelmed with the amount of people turning up, the staff at BFS was helpful, and above all nice, as they ushered us through the process of dividing up the group in to lanes and getting us all shoes. Next thing, we were on the lanes, rolling strikes left and right, spilling beer and having a classic good ol' time bowling. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of atmosphere. There were no disco lights and the music coming from the speakers was actually a radio station. This is not the kind of place where you want to bowl sober with three of your best friends. This is the kind of place you want to come to when you are a group of twenty and you could care less about everything else around you. The prices are awesome, after two and a half hours of bowling (2 rounds) plus shoes, I paid only 14€. Plus beer, you're looking at a Saturday night under 40€, when was the last time that happened to you in Paris? Oh, did I mention this place is open until 4:30am? Eat, drink, bowl and be merry. So, I found Paris Bike Company and set up a ride with Sam, sending him the dimensions of my bike in advance. The original day we'd arranged for was rainy, and he was super-flexible about postponing it a day or two. Once in Malakoff, I easily found his shop and Sam waiting for me. Sam is super-chill and isn't there to kick your butt, but rather lets you set the pace according to your ability (I discovered I'd been eating and drinking a little too much on my trip, so being allowed to set our pace was a good thing). We set off on our ride, him explaining some of the local rules of the road so as to make the trip a safe one. We rode out to Versailles and back, about a 50km round-trip. During the trip, Sam was a great tour guide. If it hadn't been quite so chilly (and I'd been a little better dressed for the cold), I would have gone out for longer. Although it cost a bit to do, having a private two-hour tour of the countryside was one of the best things I did in Paris!

Recently opened (July 2015), this little public swimming Pool isn't quite finished being…read moreconstructed in all it´s Details. There is also a Sauna, a Fitness Area and a Hammam-bath as well (everything costs extra), but I have (so far) only been at the swimming pool. First impressions are very good. It´s a very modern building and while taste is certainly in the eye of the beholder - I quite like the design and the architecture. The changing rooms are spacious and were clean when I was there. The showers were also very nice, but they are missing a fixture to put your shower-gel/soap. Since bathing-caps are not mandatory at this pool - being able to put your soap somewhere and not on the floor, would make showering it more comfortable and thus could help keep water-quality good. Inside the Pool area, there are three basins. One for toddlers, one "multipurpose" with adjustable depth (1 Meter 30 max) and a 25 Meter pool for swimming (I think it´s 25x12), depth 1 Meter 80 all around. The swimming-basin is stainless-steel. There are two, let´s call them "islands" at the walls, made from wood, with deck-chairs for some relaxation. There are some small palm trees on them and one of said "islands" also features a fishtank. The brochure says that this is "your first feg-shui swimming pool" - I´m not sure about that, but I also don´t care ;) The multipurpose-basin will also be the venue of Aqua Jogging, Aqua Fitness and all these sort of things. On Top of the Building, there is also an exterior sun-deck. You can reach Auqazena via the RER-station Calmart, the Bus 169 or the TUVIM Bus (green line). Or of course by Car, though there wasn´t a lot of parking space left when I was there. Negatives? Like I already hinted in the first sentence, despite being open to the public, the whole thing is simply not finished now (July 2015). I´ve been there a couple of days after the first opening and while everything was generally functional, a lot of the necessary details were still missing. I´m, sure this will all be done in the next weeks or months, but it lessened my experience no less. For example: the signage. I could make a long list now, but let´s just say that they are still in need of A LOT of signs on the walls. Where to go, where everything is, how to use the (electronic, money-less lockers) ... etc. There is not even a Sign outside telling you what this building is. There also is no clock anywhere inside. Privacy is another issue that popped up during my visit. There was a lot of picture taking going on inside around the pool which is forbidden in almost every other public swimming pool that I know. But at least the (very friendly and helpful) Staff stepped in when some teenagers started taking under-water pictures. If you are shy, the upper sundeck is also not for you. The residential-buildings are quite close and there is no Visual cover of sorts and so there are a lot of people who can watch this sundeck up close from their living-rooms. Price-wise I´m not feeling the 5 Euro 60 (Residents of Issy get a reduction) Entrance fee for the pool. Sure, there are some good plans and abonnements if plan to go there often, but 5,60 is still a lot of money to go for a swim. Either way, I will certainly return in some weeks time, hoping everything is finished by then. It´s generally a nice, small, modern pool.
