We visited Pizza Base a few times before we moved away from the area. They offered the best value…read morepizza in town. The offer the usual pizza menu along side other fast food options. When ordering pizza we never had to wait for more than 10 minutes to collect our food. There are newspapers to read whilst you wait. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and also trusting. Once we forgot to bring any form of payment and they let us take the pizza away and then come back with some money later on! Don't think that you would get that level of service from the big pizza chains.

Bengal means from Bangladesh, and having lived with a Bengali guy I know that that cuisine is similar but definitely distinctive from Indian cuisine, so I ordered in from here while at a friend's house in nearby Guiseley to see if they did anything different from the usual Indian takeaway. They didn't, and to be fair, the sign above the door says 'Indian' takeaway, not 'Bengali', so you can't expect anything other than Indian food. I guess I just got excited when I saw the word Bengali because I thought of my ex-housemate's mother's Bengali cooking that was out of this world. In reality, this takeaway is good enough - they delivered swiftly at a pretty average price, and the curries we got in were satisfying enough. Yet, though the naan breads were brilliant, Bengal really is just another unremarkable Indian takeaway.
