My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.

I asked my daughter and in the coincidentally in the mail I had a flyer for State Farm and Becky Schuler. We had State Farm in Hawaii more than 35 years ago and absolutely loved them. I scanned the QR code and inputted our information. I quickly got a quote thru the internet but I also got another quote from another company. We decided to take the quote from the other company for auto insurance. George from State Farm called me after purchasing the automobile insurance from the other company. I said I just purchased another insurance. He then said if he could go over the quote with me. Although I wasn't interested, I let him continue. George went in detail about customizing my homeowner's quote, because I did not switch that over yet. Long story short, after talking on the hour with George, he saved me over $800 for our homeowner's policy per year!! George was very thoughtful and thorough!! When I was the one to call out the error they reinstated my coverage and demanded I pay the money back. They would not accommodate a partial credit for the days they cancelled the policy then they ignored my cancellation request when I refused to pay back their error. I rec'd an invoice today and learned it has already been sent to collections so Allstate won't credit it. It's been less than 2 weeks since they "corrected" the cancellation date. 100% uncalled for and unprofessional. Stay FAR AWAY.
