His lack of attention to my case had significant negative consequences to me and my kids. I handed him everything on a silver platter and he completely dropped the ball and refused to communicate. Little did I know when I hired him, but he had just had a public reprimand and then a month later was at trial for his own State Bar suspension. Due to my grievance (consistent with complaints of other former clients of his) with the State Bar regarding this attorney, the State Bar has taken him to court. He is not responding to the discovery requests of the State Bar and has gone completely MIA in his own case! If he won't attempt to save his own law license, what does that tell you about his interest in protecting you? The State Bar filed a Motion to Compel on 3/6/26 and the court has yet to act on it. Meanwhile, he is still licensed to practice law with the potential to harm more people.

There was a date error on this certificate which VASTLY changed my liabilities - from nearly 0 to my house, business, etc. He provided no legal advice and advised me to go along with whatever the opposing counsel suggested, even though it was not in my best interest . He would not answer a single question I asked him and would charge me $100+ for each one sentence email he would send to me that did not provide any guidance. He was extremely discouraging and did not suggest mediation. He merely suggested I give up and pay out 50%+ even though my situation was very unique and not clear-cut (a signed, informal marriage agreement with a date discrepancy). If I continued with Joe I would have given up an extra ~$500k in my divorce. In the end I paid $4500 for him to draft a boilerplate divorce petition and forward emails from the opposing attorney with no legal advice.
