We had enough of them and decided to wait until Mountain Lake opened and would make the move! Dr. Kranz changed our lives and informed us our dog did not have cancer rather was arthritic in his legs. She changed his diet and his brothers and both are on their way to living healthier lives. More energy, and losing weight and happy to chase balls! Don has been incredible as well answering our frequent calls and getting our pets taken care of! Cannot recommend them enough!

Is she perfect? Nope. Because there is no such thing. Remember that. Doesn't change the fact we still like her and trust our dogs lives with her. It's interesting seeing folks be upset about how they are treated or how much they have to pay. I am sorry, but that is on you for not doing your homework. Pets are not cheap. Do your homework on what your breeds are prone to, what the costs are, if there are any specialists you might need in your area. For some of those spinal and allergy issues we have had to bring our dogs all over Colorado and sometimes out of state. Knowing those details will actually help you make your decision. Veterinarians also get very busy. You are not their only patient even though you think you are. If its an emergency, take it to the Emergency center. If you are not happy, find a different veterinarian and be unhappy over there. You want cheap? Get a goldfish.

I'm leaving a review because Dr. Florek's solution to my cat's symptoms related to irritable bowel disease and food allergies was to schedule expensive dental surgery to remove her teeth due to a lazy misdiagnosis. I eventually went to a different vet who was able to diagnose her with IBD and allergies causing the symptoms that Dr. Florek wanted to pull teeth for. Unfortunately within 6 months the IBD developed into intestinal lymphoma and my cat is now terminally ill with less than a month to live (she's barely 9 years old). It breaks my heart to think if I had brought her to a different vet sooner, instead of staying with Dr. Florek for 2-3 years, the IBD could have been treated earlier and we could have stopped it from developing into stomach cancer. If you want your animal(s) to receive high quality medical treatment, I would avoid this practice like the plague.

Before finding them, I had some pretty…read moredisappointing experiences with two other cat-only vet practices, so finding a place that has been this wonderful to us has been such a relief. What impressed me the most was how well they handled my spicy cat. She's not the easiest cat to work with, so vet visits can be pretty stressful. The staff at Red Rock were incredibly gentle with her and respected her boundaries without pushing her past what she was comfortable with. They managed to handle her without making her scream, and honestly, I was amazed. The difference from my previous experiences was night and day. It meant so much to see people actually take the time to work with her instead of forcing things when she was uncomfortable. I also love that they have separate areas for cats and dogs. It's such a thoughtful touch for cats who get stressed easily. And after my experiences with other cat-only practices, I've learned that specializing in cats doesn't necessarily mean a clinic knows how to handle every cat well. Red Rock really stood out to me in that regard. Dr. Dan has been wonderful, too. He's very knowledgeable, and I really appreciate how willing he is to explain things and answer my questions. I've never felt uncomfortable asking him something or worried that I'm asking too many questions. I like understanding what's going on with my cats, and he takes the time to walk me through things. He's also been so kind and gentle with them, which means a lot to me. We've had a pretty rough time recently because maintenance at my apartment was making extremely loud noises while cutting through the wall. Both of my cats became so stressed that they developed GI issues, including vomiting and diarrhea. One of them even refused to eat for two days, and I had to syringe-feed her. It was honestly a really scary and exhausting experience. Through all of this, everyone we've dealt with at Red Rock has been so kind and helpful. Having people who listen to my concerns and help us through such a stressful situation has made a difficult few days a little easier. I'm just really grateful we found this practice. After my previous experiences, it feels so good to have a vet I feel comfortable bringing my cats to, where I know their boundaries will be respected and my concerns will be taken seriously. Thank you so much to Dr. Dan and everyone at Red Rock for being so kind to my kitties and me. I'm genuinely grateful for everything you've done for us, especially during these past few stressful days. I'm SO happy I found you guys!

Today I found the clinic to be unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful and left without accomplishing the vaccines we were scheduled for. When voicing serious concerns about the treatment of my dog, Lauren felt it was best to argue with me on the call and double down on the necessity of pills for her appointments, which was never agreed upon nor addressed when the appointment was made. I will also add that my dog is nervous, anxious, and shaky. Not violent, aggressive, or unpredictable. And all of this was after we waited in the exam room 30 min past our appointment time with no communication. This is not the vet for everyone. And I would not recommend based on the suggested overuse of drugs in my own dog for minor appointments such as nail trims and vaccines.
