My daughter says the teachers are nice but that staff in the office is by far the rudest set of women I have ever encountered! I have called financial aid 3 times since my child been there and all 3 times I have been met with the rudest women!! They took that job,nobody made them therefore present themselves as educated,professional human beings. I understand they get many many calls, the job I have requires great customer service skills and I think these women need to go back to the customer service training part and redo it! read more

They are crooks. Stealing from dept of Ed. This school does not provide any learning or help. I was not able to take placement test. They are not able to communicate effectively. That prevents registration of classes. I have not registered it's impossible. That means I am not a student. They billed Dept of education and took money. read more

The best word I could think to describe the nursing campus would be "mediocre." Most of the faculty/staff I've interacted with have been fine; they're reasonably friendly for the most part, and when I've had questions, they've usually been able to either answer them themselves, or direct me to someone else who can. The Nursing Campus facilities aren't great, and they're not in a good part of town. There's a pretty big sinkhole in the parking lot that they apparently have no intention of fixing. Student services has never given me any problems. Only instructor I've had a problem with is one of the surgical instructors, Kim. She's rude, talks to students like they're five, and I've heard her talking bad about other teachers and employees a lot of times. She just has an overall bad attitude, and acts like she's looking for things to be mad about. She's also never in her office; I tried to meet with her several times when I was in the program, and she was always off chitchatting. I'd recommend steering clear of the program until she inevitably gets fired. read more

I'm going to be honest, I would suggest no one apply here because dorms are nasty, the walls leak, and the lights leak. Bathrooms are always nasty here. Then education here is so bad that you have to teach yourself. For anyone that goes here now I am sorry. And the coaches for the soccer time are no good. read more

Run of the mill junior college. You need to be aware of what you kid is taking or you will be stuck there for ever. Advisors don't advise they just rubber stamp schedules and let a student do what they like so they will be taking unnecessary classes adding to you bill. clean nice campus and rooms but they are not active imo to getting kids on the right path. read more

The 3 stars overall review is as high as it is because of the conference and the awesome staff. Having a full service facility is an excellent idea, but with the college running the entire facility it seems as though the motel side of the house of relegated to low bid items. I have never attempted to sleep in a bed so firm in all my life as I did here. A couple of nights could be bearable but I had a 4-night stay and it was agonizing. My first morning I went to take a shower and there was no hot water. So...I talked to the very nice lady at the front desk and she said that she would have someone check it out. As it turns out there want hot water but the plumbers messed up in two of the rooms and the hot comes out of the cold side. I worked 32 years for the government and this is the epitome of low bid government work. Sorry...this is a great facility and the motel could do some improvements and it would have so much more potential as a hotel in the beautiful surroundings on the lake and golf that it could even be a destination for these type of outdoor activities instead of what it is today. read more

This college is the pits, the counsellors are quick to shrug you off like their notorious record of dropouts. When I try to learn in a class and am brushed off like dust on the shoulder, then I'm whisked away to a distant room full of computers to hop on the Internet and be punished when I get an incorrect answer one too many times making feel the urgency to break open the textbook and start drilling problems it offers, and this is for the majority of general classes. I feel my intelligence is being condescended and taken rather sarcastically, nor is appreciated in the slightest. Although there is the appearance of a warm collection of activities and amenities, it's rather subpar and spread thin. The food is comfortable, but the classes are cold as are the teachers who seem as though they have been talking to themselves and the wall for quite a long time. For the price I paid inconveniently, I wish I had known how genuinely distasteful bad learning environments can be and thought considerably more about where I was going to school. read more

Ratchet campus. The waiting area for the guidance counselors is ridiculously outrageously long. Even when it's not busy in there, you still have to wait long, like what the hell are they getting paid for just sitting around?? Then they don't really give you any guidance and it doesn't really help because one counselor said one thing and the other said another. Prison-like area, very unsafe for night classes and would not recommend dorming. read more
