The tonkotsu ramen, rice bowl, and gyoza were the best items. The shoyu ramen was just ok in my opinion. Note that the rice bowl is pretty small. It is more like a side item to accompany your ramen or for someone who isn't very hungry. Another plus- this place is small, but has AC! This seems so rare from the restaurants we ate at in Playa.

I got myself a margarita on the rocks. The service here is really great, and the experience here reminded me of Benihana's. The appetizer was a 3 piece sushi that didn't taste that good. Then we got a small plate of tuna with seaweed as a second appetizer. This was followed by miso soup, a bowl of fried rice with shrimp, beef and pork kebabs with veggies. We were given some pork filet pieces and for dessert it was mango mochi. The fried rice had lots of butter added to it like they do at Benihana's. The kebabs were cooked well enough, but the lack of variety of veggies was sad. The miso soup was pretty watery also. The sushi pieces and tuna were not tasty at all. If I ever came back to this resort, I would probably avoid this restaurant.
