I would say is one of the nicest plazas I have visited along my life. Although malls in US are big…read moreand some of them very luxury or huge (like the one in Minneapolis), this was both in an open/enclosed environment with a great variety of stores that only in big cities in US are present. High technology displayed all along the plaza. A few examples: the Bancomer ATM area with a wall of led screens presenting ads and digital spectacle. Liverpool has led screens on its outside walls that display ads as well as light changes. Palacio de Hierro has led light that changes the outside walls (which by the way, is an architectural piece of work!). The restaurants are top notch and all of them have a patio where you can enjoy the great weather this city has. And well, it has a pay parking lot with lots of security around which makes you feel safe. Good experience and a great weekend experience with family. One last comment...it's pricey, so be prepared to use your CC!!!

Here comes Mexico out of nowhere with these ultra lux shopping and entertainment experiences. I have never been to a place with so many shopping, entertainment experiences crammed into such a small space as Querétaro and all are executed in a way that puts most American establishments to shame. We just don't do it as well. Most places have the same sets of stores, a lot of American brands but there is also this interesting mix of indoor/outdoor, stone, glass, green spaces and it all works together. Here a mall is an experience. A place to hang out, eat, play, shop, and so much more. This is something the US has lost with Amazon. No one hangs out at the mall anymore. The food options are garbage and it's just dated. Antea is the top of the food chain in Querétaro. I believe is one of the top malls in Latin America and it shows. It's just an amazing place to be for hours. There is something for almost every income level and sense of taste. Staff in every location we visited was friendly, and some places were expensive even to American standards but you felt that it was a premium experience which made it feel oddly okay.
