As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. I'm still building my "rolodex" for home repairs, renovations, and HVAC, but glad I'm taking one big one off my list.

He answered all of my questions. Picking the flooring was painless... I went with tile, new carpeting and new baseboards. The next step was Mike coming to my house and taking measurements and walking through the current flooring. This was a quick process, and he wrote the cost sheet up. In my opinion, the pricing was fair and I paid the required half up front. The job was quoted at 3 days but took more like 11 days. The crew was ran by Terrance Brooks. One thing I will say is important is who is in your home. You will be spending a lot of time with the contractors. Terrance and his crew were punctual and communicated with me well the time they were here. I had a great experience with DFW Flooring and Mike Spitzbeg! They really took the time to listen to my needs and provided a personalized, thoughtful approach. We picked out a counter but it took a week for them to get our check to clear the bank. After that, another week went by and no word about install date. When I called, you can't leave a message because they're voice mailbox is always full. If you try to contact them online, there's an error that won't let you do that either. I got ahold of someone on 1/12/26 and they said it was scheduled for 1/16/25 between 8-9am. I called back and asked if we could get it installed sooner because no one could be there that day. They said they would find out and call me back. I never heard back from them so I figured they would come out on the regular scheduled day. Around noon on 1/16/25 I called and asked when they were coming because I took the day off in order to be there. The installer texted me and said it was rescheduled for 1/19/26 because he was told 1/16/26 was cancelled by the customer. I told him I never cancelled anything. Someone was supposed to contact me but never did! The installer said he would see what he could do and he would call me back. He never did!! I never heard a word from anyone all weekend. I called them at 10am on 1/19/26 to find out when it was going to be installed. They said between 11am and noon. I won't hold my breath. I have dealt with lots of contractors and vendors over the years because we have several rentals, but this lack of customer service is pretty bad. This will be the last time we use them or refer anyone to them.
