Facility is in a nice, secluded, and in a quiet piece of land that makes you feel like you are away from the city's hustle and bustle. I recommend you bring an SUV. You'll do fine with a regular car, but some of the steep gravel roads on the property can be a challenge. 2. This is friendly place where you get to meet lots of people. Whether you're looking for friends or fun, you will find it. I had a person knock on my cabin door to "meet"...and we "met" alright. I met a total of 4 times and declined a 5th, 6th and 7th opportunity. That was enough for 2 days, seriously. 3. Good cell phone reception with T-Mobile. Despite being up in wooded hills of PA, I never lost signal. 4. Café on site where you can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner at a fairly reasonable prices. 5. Night club (Club "O") on site that brings life to the place at night. 6. The themed weekends are very nice and real effort goes into making them fun. I was there for the "I Love Latin" weekend and boy was it fun. 7. A real pool, 7ft deep. 8. My cabin was clean and so were the bed and sheets. WEAKNESSES 1. Old, dark and dirty restrooms and showers. They badly need renovations. I know we're camping but still. This will turn people away, seriously. 2. Lots of old, dirty campers covered in tarp and seemingly abandoned. There should be higher cleanliness standards on the campground. This is an older campground but it still has huge potential: The property is beautiful and secluded, the staff is friendly and the themed weekends are fun. In the end that's my reason for the 4 stars. I will DEFINITELY be back.

They have added 32 new sites, a beautiful swimming pool and WiFi that works all the time. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They even showed me pictures of the work in progress of building the new sites. Almost all of the non seasonal sites are pull thrus, that can accommodate huge rigs with a tow behind vehicle or huge fifth wheels with a second vehicle. We will definitely be back on a more regular basis. The best thing it was only 1-1/2 hour from home.

The review AFTER the initial review!!…read more So I wrote a review and deleted it when the owner of the campground came to our campsite and kicked myself, my husband and my children off the site after writing the review! ! Apparently, you can be a business owner, have a PUBLIC website and give guests the option to review their stays BUT if it's not to their liking, they are allowed to use your power and authority, to do what they want. In this case, it was in the middle of me cooking my family dinner. He didn't even have the common courtesy to let us have dinner before telling us to pack it up. This all stemmed from my 13 year old son and his friend riding bikes too fast, throwing rocks at each others FEET, walking around with a flashlight and ALLEGEDLY jumping over the counter in the ice cream shop. First of all, they were riding BICYCLES!!! Peddle bikes, NOT ELECTRIC! So how fast can you actually go on a BIKE!! The rock "throwing".... They were waiting patiently OUTSIDE the gate to the pool for my husband to finish his conversation with the owner, who told him we were NOT ALLOWED to bring the boys back to his campground together again!!! Why would you tell someone that!!! They are BOYS... ages 12 and 13! They were NOT throwing rocks at people, there was no one in the vicinity of them... they threw a couple SMALL pebbles at each others feet!! As far as the flashlight episode goes, they were WALKING around the campground, in the dark, at night, with a flashlight that may have ACCIDENTALLY shined in a campsite or two while WALKING!!! They were not PURPOSELY doing it! Lastly, the jumping on the counter in the ice cream shop!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! You can CLEARLY and very EASILY walk around the counter if you want to! Jesus, the friend that came with my son had to be helped climbing in the back of my husbands truck!! There is NO WAY that him or my son climbed on a glass counter!! This campground is definitely geared more toward the elderly and the retired! Most sites there are permanent so the "weekenders" or the "vacationers" get the short end of the stick. They do not get the same treatment or respect as the "regulars" especially if they have kids! Boys are boys!!! I understand they need to be respectful and responsible, however, it's a campground, they are on peddle bikes, messing around with each other, minding their own business and hurting not ANYONE! My opinion would be do not go here if you have children, especially preteen to teenager boys. There is not much geared towards kids at this place. Almost all campgrounds have pools, ice cream and a playground. There are other options. If you have children, maybe pick a better place that is more for your children. Unfortunately, camping at a place that doesn't put children first, will no longer be my first choice. I also want to add that my husband and I don't smoke marijuana but it was definitely present at the campground... so my boys can't be "boys" but I have to smell that crap everyday I'm camping, because it's "legal" For years, I would have proudly and happily given Belden Hill a 10 star review but after this weekend and feeling like this place had it out for my boys from the second we showed up, it's a one because I can't give a zero. One of the BEST(and the worse) parts of this whole experience was, as he (the owner) was talking to my husband, he said REPEATEDLY, "boys will be boys" Pick a side Brian!!! Either the elderly or the vacationeers! I bet you didn't tell the people that complained about us "boys will be boys" I can only hope they see this review and realize you are playing both sides!! But then again, since you favor the elderly and the retired, they probably don't have much to do with google reviews! The whole experience is sickening!

Bill Hills Farm Tent and Breakfast is located in a small town in Narrowsburg NY, it's somewhat close to the Delaware Water Gap and it's approximately a two and a half hour drive from Queens NY. TIP: It's on the way to Woodbury outlet, so you can do some shopping after glamping We got there just before it was dark, in order to gain access there, you'll need to first meet up with the owner Jane (she lived just down the block) and she'll direct you to the glamping tent. After a short 5 minutes drive into the wood, we got to the tent and since it was night time, we couldn't really see the outside of the tent, but inside- O-M-G- GLAMOROUS! Everything was wood so you still feel like you are in the wild, Queen size bed, lights and electricity, small refrigerator, table, fully functional toilet, shower with jets and a full size marble sink. It just couldn't get more inTents than this! After the tour around the tent, Jane was super sweet and asked us if we had any dietary restrictions and also what time we would like to have breakfast. We said no and then she said good night and left us to enjoy the song of the nature = cricket singing The next day breakfast was served at around 8am (thru our request), We didn't get our breakfast served to us in bed but it was atop of a TREEHOUSE!!! OMG moment #2, this is definitely a boy's (I mean MEN) dream come true!!!! Moving on to breakfast we had muffins, fruit salad, an APPLE SAUSAGE RING and scramble eggs.. I usually don't eat sausages but that apple sausage ring was delicious!!! So good that I had two servings! and I'm very critical about my scramble eggs but Jane was on point with the eggs, it was perfect- nice and fluffy, not runny and not rock solid. While we were eating, Jane suggested a few places we should check out and she even gave us detailed directions to each of these places.. she's just too nice! Unfortunately it rained both days we were there but still we had a great time hanging out in the tent and tree house. The town center itself is not big but it's cute in it's own unique way. Overall the whole stay was quite an experience, Jane was an excellent host and is super accommodating, the tent was amazing with everything well maintained, the food Jane cooked was legit! that Apple sausage ring so good!! I'm not a fan of camping but I will not mind coming back to Blue Hill Farm Tent for another glamping experience!

They have two or three bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a fire ring. They are fully furnished and climate controlled, which is nice in the winter and summer. However, there is no WiFi or cell service (unless you have A T and T) so be mindful of that when you book. I have never stayed at the campsites, so I cant speak for accommodations there. Activities: There's so much to do around the park, including boating or swimming at Lake Jean, exploring the many miles of trails, or having a family barbecue. The most famous trail in the park, the Falls Trail, is a must-hike for visitors. The trail can be steep, rocky, and slippery, and the main loop (not including the bottom three falls) runs about 5 miles, which is longer than the advertised distance, so be prepared. Bring good shoes and lots of water and expect some amazing views of the falls. The other trails in the park are also beautiful, albeit far less traveled. I did the 13 mile loop from cherry run to mountain springs road to the mountain springs trail, and it was a great distance and not too steep. We went past the old Lake Leigh dam breast and an unnamed waterfall with a nice swimming hole. The cherry run and mountain springs trails have lots of tall grass, so make sure to wear long pants in case of ticks. Additionally, the spring runs right through portions of the mountain springs trail, so be prepared to get your feet a little wet. I look forward to each year I get to go to Ricketts and even though I am sad I'm home, I'm super excited for next year!

For 3 years running The Plan has been to go to Acadia. First year: someone went to an international wedding of 500 people and got the Rona Second year: someone bought a big rig and rates were in the toilet Third year: Someone was tired and the planing was overwhelming I just knew this would be The Year. Sike - Rain and thunderstorms forecasted from May 27-June 4 and we had a campsite lmaaoooooo But one thing about me - I'm gon pivot every time. So we booked a Hipcamp and headed to PA instead. I wanted open land, dark skies, and opportunities to hike. Ricketts was only 10 minutes away!! All I knew about this park beforehand was that it was a waterfall paradise. We had our dog with us and arrived at Ricketts around 4pm on a Sunday. We checked out some of the small falls at the trailhead then did the Evergreen Trail. Beautiful view of Adams Falls, a lovely wooded walk through an old growth forest, and some climbs here and there to keep your heart rate up. I love when Wesley goes out on the trails - he sniffs everything, bounds ahead to scout the path, and patiently waits until I can clear obstacles. Still, given the height and uneven terrain of even this shorter trail in the park, I would likely return without him to take on some of the more challenging routes. Making sure he didn't fly off the ledge and I didn't fall off the stone steps had my nervous system on fire lol. I'm also old now and believe feet should always stay rooted to the floor. So yeah. The park is very dog friendly and we love that. But for me and mine, maybe we'll come solo next time. Summed Up: Beautiful Ethereal Calming Steep Heights Dog-friendly Free Do it!
