I've spent around twenty five thousand dollars with this place over time, and I kept coming back for one reason: Nate. His work is outstanding. The man could rebuild an RV blindfolded while reciting torque specs. He deserves a shop where his skill isn't overshadowed by someone trying to run the place like a discount drill instructor. The problem isn't the techs. The problem is the owner, David, who treats customers like they walked into his day wrong. They missed storm damage on my estimate, failed to order a window they said would be "no problem," overlooked two damaged exterior speakers, left grease on the interior during a previous visit, and forgot to leave my keys out so I could pick up my RV before a freeze. That "oops" earned me a wasted trip. But the trophy moment was when David called me the next morning. I asked for a simple verification that the plumbing wasn't compromised from the cold. Instead of professionalism, he unleashed a rant, raised his voice, and cussed at me before I could even finish a sentence. I've gotten calmer responses from TSA agents during holiday travel. Here's the truth: * Nate is the only thing keeping this place afloat. * The shop's actual work is fine. * But the leadership style is "angry hall monitor with a business license," and that's being generous. When the owner acts like every reasonable question is a personal attack, it doesn't just push customers away -- it risks the reputation of everyone who works there. I'm amazed the team sticks around, especially someone as skilled as Nate. He deserves better. If you want quality work without being treated like an inconvenience, choose literally any other RV shop in Colorado. As long as David is running the show, this one is a hard pass.

That being said, the dealership is never happy to service my vehicle..... I brought my vehicle in last July due to overheating, $700 later the two thermostats had been replaced. Less than a month later, it started overheating again. The engine was replaced but the workmanship was terrible.....my window washer lines are broken and the hood barely opens because the radiator is binding the latch....neither of these items were problems prior to the engine work. when I told the service staff, they said it was my problem but I could pay for them to be fixed!!! DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE STAFF, they only care about the money and the number of vehicles they can move thru the department.

Since…read morepurchasing it, I've only driven it about 265 miles because I was traveling for much of that time and often drove my previous truck. The first time I tried to use the tailgate after leaving the dealership, it didn't work. I took the truck to my local Ram dealership, where they diagnosed a failed tailgate control module with an estimated repair cost of approximately $1,300. I understand the dealer's limited warranty does not cover this specific component. My disappointment is not about the warranty itself--it's about how this situation has been handled. I asked Boulder Chrysler Dodge Ram to consider goodwill assistance given that the truck had only been driven about 265 miles since I purchased it, but they declined. I also requested a copy of the vehicle's reconditioning report, used vehicle inspection checklist, and the repair order showing what was done to prepare the truck for sale. To date, I have not received those documents or a response to my request. I wasn't asking for something unreasonable. I simply hoped the dealership would stand behind a $47,500 truck that experienced a major electronic failure after only 265 miles of my ownership. I expected better post-sale customer service from a franchised Ram dealership. I still hope Boulder Chrysler Dodge Ram will reconsider and work with me toward a fair resolution. If they do, I'll gladly update this review to reflect that experience.

We had an awesome buying experience thanks to Taylor. I found her through her Youtube RV walk thru videos and we found her to be incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. The best part is Taylor truly cared about finding the right fit and her sense of caring has continued on well past the sale. We're first time RV'ers so lots to learn but Taylor has been there with us every step of the way to ensure our questions have been answered. When I couldn't figure out how to make our hot water heater work, Bill H. was reachable on the first try over the phone and patiently walked me thru the process. When I couldn't complete a DIY suspension upgrade project and ended up not being able to remount the old rear bump spring, Billie got me in the next day to complete the job. Everyone at Transwest has made our first RV buying experience a very pleasurable one. We'll undoubtedly be a repeat customer when we look to upgrade from a Class C to A in a few years' time.

I just saved a trip to Elkhart!!…read more We live in a Thor Palazzo RV full time. We've been stranded multiple times because we couldn't get our right (kitchen) slide to retract. We discussed this with Thor and they suggested we come back to the factory to get it addressed. We couldn't decide if it was alignment our the controller. With winter, we opted to deal with it until spring. Over the past 4 weeks, we were again stranded 3 times. The first time, Thor service gave us a tip on reversing the wiring at the controller (under the right side bay). That worked and got us on the road. The next stop had the same issue and again we were stranded. A local mechanic showed me a process to override the controller and again got us on the road. We recently hit Denver for two weeks so I began looking for a way to get it fixed. After three calls to Lazy Days RV which were never returned, I talked to a Overall RV. They were helping me with a frozen valve in the water bay. Turns out the tech was the owner...he and his partner did slide alignments at Camping World for years. They looked at my slide and measured the alignment. I was off by more the 1 1/2 inches, top to bottom putting a strain on the motors and the controller. They gave me an estimate to fix it on site. The cost to drive to Elkhart IN along with continued frustration made my decision easy... two hours later, they aligned the slide, checked the controller and motors, lubbedd the tracks, checked the rollers and tested the slide at least 8 times. They ended their appointment by telling me they reduced my expense by $200! Because only one end of the slide was off track, their labor was less... Oh and they did this work on New Year's Day! A huge shout out to Overall RV Service in Denver CO. They walked me through every step of the process so I would understand what they were doing and how I could keep up with maintenance going forward. They never said a negative word about Thor or the Palazzo and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the rig and systems. Awesome job and keeps us on the road! We love our Palazzo. There are things I can and cannot do on my own. When we find a good technician and honest business, we do our best to let the folks know. If in this area and need help, give them a call... I'm back on the road tomorrow!! Happy New Year!

I would **never** rent from Cruise America again, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering…read morethem look elsewhere. Our family rented an RV for what was supposed to be a four-day vacation. Instead, three of those four days were spent dealing with catastrophic mechanical failures, repair shops, roadside emergencies, and a vehicle exchange. The most shocking part? We later discovered the black and gray water plumbing underneath the RV had been held together with **duct tape and zip ties instead of proper support brackets.** It eventually failed at a gas station, dumping raw sewage and covering me while I tried to make an emergency roadside repair. It was disgusting, humiliating, and completely avoidable. An authorized RV repair facility in San Diego inspected the vehicle and told us it was **illegal to operate.** Despite knowing this, Cruise America instructed us to continue driving it to another location for an exchange, putting my family at risk and exposing us to potential legal consequences if we had been stopped. The problems didn't stop there. The generator had never been properly inspected before we left. A breaker hidden behind the maintenance panel had been left switched off, leaving us without air conditioning, heat, or microwave power for the first two days while traveling through 100-degree temperatures and freezing nights. When we finally arrived at the pre-arranged exchange location in Lakewood, the office was **closed.** We ended up completing paperwork with a neighbor who openly admitted he didn't even work for Cruise America and had no idea how to inspect the replacement RV. Even the replacement vehicle wasn't properly prepared. The hot and cold water lines were installed backward, and the tires were 10-15 PSI underinflated. After everything we endured, Cruise America refused to fully compensate us despite extensive documentation, repair invoices, photographs, and written confirmation from the repair shop that the original RV should not have been on the road. What concerns me most isn't that mechanical problems happened--machines can fail. It's that this company appears willing to rent out poorly maintained vehicles, send customers onto the road in unsafe conditions, and then avoid taking meaningful responsibility afterward. This wasn't just an inconvenience. It was a serious safety issue that exposed my family to unnecessary risk, destroyed the majority of our vacation, and forced us to spend our time fixing problems that never should have existed. If a company is comfortable sending customers out in an RV that a certified repair shop later declares **illegal to drive**, then I have absolutely no confidence in their inspection process or their commitment to customer safety. There are plenty of RV rental companies. I sincerely encourage anyone considering Cruise America to choose one that values preventative maintenance, customer safety, and accountability. Cruise America has permanently lost our business, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.
