This restaurant is one of a style called KILO in Brasil. The idea is that you have a big style buffet presentation, and get what you want while moving forward, once you get to the end of the line, they weigh your plate, and you pay only what it weighs. Mine was full, and it only cost me around 25 Reais (about 13 dollars). Some of the options were: boiled quail eggs, grill pork loin, grilled salmon, beets, salads, polpetone recheado ( meatballs filled with parmesan cheese), polenta, crab (siri) au gratin, etc. Also for being Saturday they had Feijoada Gorda (bean stew with feet, tongue, and ear of pork) and the Magra (with dry meat, sausage, and ribs)
This is a favorite spot for the family because is close by, quick, and very cheap. There is great variety of options, but the food quality is moderate. The majority is in the 3 to 3.5 scale, but I had a couple 2.5. My biggest disappointment was the Picanha w Garlic ( It had too many nerves). However the polpetone, the standard picanha, and the spicy sausage (linguica apimentada) were very good. read more
