Fantastic repair. Quick and reasonable price too…read more I have an HP Pavilion Windows computer that I purchased in October 2011 (10 years ago) with a solid state drive (SSD). It finally died. I didn't know what was wrong. It could have been just the monitor because when I powered it up, I could barely see anything on the screen other than pixelated junk with error messages - no boot drive etc... I called Sebring Computers Wednesday mid-morning and they were able to get me into their service department right away - that same day. He tested the monitor that I also brought in, and it was good. Then he tested the video card and it was bad and so was the SSD at the time. I got 10 years out of it. He said he could start working on it right away, but I said I couldn't leave my main SSD or the secondary hard drive - for security purposes. He took both of them out within 2 minutes and handed them to me for safe keeping. He called me within a few hours that same day and said he installed a new (and larger) SSD and I should bring in my secondary hard drive to reinstall it into the desktop. I now have a new SSD and video card, along with a new heat sink for the computer, with Windows 10 Pro installed. I now have it back home and I have reinstalled EVERYTHING and it works perfectly, actually its faster now that I have a new hard drive without all the bloated software on it. ((( SUGGESTION FOR ALL OF YOU: Always back up your data to your own external hard drive, I use a 500gig SSD myself. Maybe get two of them. But also back up your Outlook .pst file so you don't loose any emails. ( I just happened to back up my Outlook on Monday and the computer crashed on Wednesday, so I didn't loose anything ))

The second problem seemed like a hardware malfunction to me, but he determined it was simply some nasty malware, which he removed. And he only charged $50 for that, half what my wife paid in Illinois a couple of years ago. He seems very knowledgeable and interested in helping but he is very busy and sometimes if you just drop by his office, you'll find no one there. So you might want to call first.

Andy was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He performed several tests on a number of my PC components right there in front of me, was open and honest about exchanging ideas on what my PC problems might be, and gave good and genuine advice on what to do to fix my problems. He spent a solid hour of his time helping me and talking to me, and did not charge me a single cent for his time. While I typically would do this kind of thing myself, Andy saved me time and money and was a great source of information and expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Computer Solutions to anyone who needed help building or repairing a computer. I was told by Gina after checking out my laptop was bad, no files could be recovered, and to "throw it in the trash & get a new one" I was then shopping for a new one at Comp USA the sales person suggested I bring my existing laptop in for a free inspection.Shure enough Avista had Ripped me off $45. The operating system was gone but the computer was fine. I had them check everything out , reload the operating system & I am back and running fine. I called to question Gina & give them a chance to make it right but she was very defensive & hung up the phone. She also had my unit on a carpeted surface which made the unit very hot & then tried to "show" me that something was wrong. I questioned this as I have spent 25 years in the electronics business...THEY have ripped several people off as I have now heard this story from several people.
