He exceeded every expectation from day one. At the time, we were living in Virginia and had only visited the Beaufort/Bluffton area a few times. We shared our priorities with Robert, and he immediately provided valuable insights, recommendations, and resources based on his extensive knowledge of the area. When it came time to tour homes, we had a very limited window to travel. Robert quickly scheduled showings for all the homes we wanted to see and was incredibly flexible with our schedule. After driving down and touring our initial selections, we realized that while they were nice homes, none of them felt quite right. Fortunately, Robert had another property in mind that had just come on the market that day. The moment we walked through the front door, we knew it was the one. Not only did it meet our expectations, but it exceeded them by including several features and amenities we had hoped for but didn't expect to find right away. Having spent the last 17 years renting/living in military housing, we were new to the home-buying process. Robert took the time to explain every step and helped us understand what to expect. We submitted an offer that afternoon and which was excepted within an hour. We were also comparing multiple mortgage lenders to find the best option. Robert recommended a local lender, and although we were initially hesitant because we were unfamiliar with the company, his recommendation proved invaluable. The lender not only beat every competing offer but also handled the process efficiently and professionally without the high pressure tactics we experienced elsewhere. Throughout the entire process, Robert was responsive, knowledgeable, and always quick to answer our questions. We are incredibly grateful for his guidance and expertise. We highly recommend Robert and his team to anyone looking to buy a home in the area, and have recommend them to our family.

We only had a couple of weeks to do some house-searching, and Paul worked very hard to show us as much as possible during a short period of time. But since our home up north was not on the market yet, we decided to wait until it was sold. Right after it sold in Nov. 2018, we took an extended stay at the Candlewood Suites in Bluffton. Paul helped us to find it. So when we connected with Paul again in November, he was just as determined to find us a house as he was in June. We had our sights set on Sun City - Hilton Head. This place is like a "paradise on earth." I will review it at a another time. Paul spent so much time showing us homes in a number of different price ranges and styles. This guy had endless energy, but knew exactly how to balance our time so that we were never overwhelmed. We always enjoyed his sense of humor and practicality. He was always very helpful, and after we finally purchased a 5-year old house in Sun City, he gave us just the right contacts for reliable maintenance and professional people. My wife and I highly recommend Paul if you are looking for an agent who knows the ins and outs of the real estate world, and who will take you through the home-buying process from A - Z. Besides that, he's just a great guy!

She is organized, on time, communicative, and made strong recommendations during the negotiation process. If you want an advocate who is sharp, well-connected and rooted in the Savannah housing market, Mary Ann and HMG should be your top choice! As a first time home buyer, Mary Ann walked me through the entire process during our initial interview meeting and ensured I was informed during each step after committing to work together. She was happy to get on a call or answer a text with prompt responses with any questions or feedback I had. We batched showings throughout my search with 5-6 properties at a time and even got stuck in a torrential downpour, but that didn't stop us! Mary Ann made excellent referrals to local lenders, inspectors, and trade professionals who also provided their expertise. I felt comfortable and calm throughout the entire process. While I was under contract for one home, the inspection was sub-par and Mary Ann helped me back out of the deal and pivot to continue looking. Although I was discouraged, she was confident I would find exactly what I was looking for! Her supporting agent Grace also took over while Mary Ann was traveling - Grace was prompt and thorough with documents for each showing we did together for a seamless continuation of my search in Mary Ann's absence. The HMG closing team was spectacular and was incredibly collaborative with my lender. The entire process was as stress-free as possible and I am grateful to have had a smooth experience!
