Jeff confidently stated that the home had "sagging hardwood floors" and multiple "structural concerns." These weren't small comments -- they were dramatic claims that would scare any buyer. The problem? None of it was real. Not one thing he said held up under actual expert review. Because his statements were so extreme, I hired both a licensed structural engineer and a foundation specialist to verify the issues. They independently confirmed that there were ZERO structural problems, ZERO sagging floors, and absolutely nothing resembling what Jeff described. His claims were not just slightly off -- they were completely fabricated in my experience. The amount of unnecessary chaos, stress, and wasted time this caused cannot be overstated. His report felt alarmist, uninformed, and wildly irresponsible. I genuinely cannot understand how someone in this profession can be so dramatically inaccurate. In my opinion, Jeff Peterson is not a reliable inspector and showed a stunning lack of professionalism or competence. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn anyone against hiring him.
