I was traveling from Seattle to St. Louis. The white part of half my right eye was swollen. I was scared I was gonna lose my eye. I called at 9am. They told me to come in immediately. I had to wait for the Super8 guy to snow plow the exit for 30min. I get to the clinic and immediately greeted and started the paperwork. I was seeing Dr. Jenkins within 30min. I felt like royalty. I returned recently from a week in BC Canada where we experienced some extreme cold weather conditions. February in BC outdoors with snowshoes, snow machine rides and harsh conditions left me with a sore bright-red right eye. Optometrist Seth Jenkins prescribed an eye drop solution with mild antibiotics and explained a variety of treatments expected to help my condition. Terrible customer service..rude people at the front desk! That's what happens when there's no other choice in town!

I had a wonderful experience with High Plains Vision Center. All the staff are very friendly and took great care of me. Dr. Jenkins is very caring, kind, and knowledgeable. He gave me an extremely thorough eye exam and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He got my prescription spot on and now I am seeing better than I have in years! He was also very good with my daughter. She was nervous about her first eye exam, but warmed up to him in no time. He even had her laughing and joking around by the end of her exam. The glasses selection is better than i expected from a small town. Great doctor! Great staff! I will be coming back for years to come. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jenkins to everyone. He is an awesome addition to our community. We are lucky to have such a great optometrist in town. read more

This office was a life saver for me. It seems like my eyes enjoy getting infections when I'm traveling. I was able to meet with Dr. Jenkins at High Plains Vision Center. He figured out what type of eye infection I had and prescribed the right medication that helped to relieve pain. I have dry eyes so he recommended that I try Xiidra drops and so far they are working well. They are new drops and I have never heard of them. I was using restasis drops which didn't work. I appreciate his knowledge and suggestion to try them. I like the location of the office-just off the freeway. The office was neat, clean and organized. read more

terrible service. They sent me the wrong order for my contact solution which I needed and now. I am going away for vacation in 2 days and now they won't send me the correct order in time. They want me to pay money and ship them the order back first so they can see their own mistake. They have completely screwed me over. When I called the manager hung up on me and didn't have any answers for me or any solutions. After I get this resolved they will never get business from me again or anyone that I know. I signed up for Yelp specifically to inform people NOT to do business with them... So I paid $500 to them for frames and prescription. Quite a bit overpriced for today's day and age, considering I could have gotten something very similar at Wal Mart for under $100. They were convenient so what the heck, right? WRONG. These people screwed me. I broke my glasses, a fairly common occurrence. They wanted me to get a completely new prescription. They refused to release any of my own information to me, regardless that I had paid way over market price. So, you can guess why I'm so angry. Oh, and I called another previous optometrist and they released my numbers immediately. Sleazy, unprofessional... these words describe how I was treated by High Plains Vision Center. read more
