We just celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at this beautiful Mediterranean restaurant, and it was truly a perfect night. We had a wonderful family-style dinner in a lovely open space that was beautifully decorated. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The family-style option included everything we needed--delicious lamb and chicken, perfectly prepared, and everything was nicely displayed. Every detail was thoughtfully done. We had such a great evening and are so grateful for everything that was done to make this night so special for our family.

Ordered lunch special. Very generous portion and food was fresh and tasty! Chopped chicken over rice came with choice of salad or soup , cold appetizer and drink with flat bread. Couldn't finish it Left some for dinner. Staff was friendly and the service was good

I have lived in town for over 40 years and have seen this building change businesses several times throughout the years and was excited to see a Mediterranean restaurant opened. My mom said she came here with some friends and they enjoyed the salads but complained about having to go up stairs. The parking lot is small but you should be able to find parking across the street easy enough. It looked like the first floor was reserved for a private party or perhaps they would seat people if and when the 2nd floor fills up. They really did a fantastic job with the decor. We were greeted with bread and the server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our hummus but ran out of bread quickly so we took it home. The salad was very big and delicious but a little too much onion for my taste, but ended up being cleaning my system. The falafel platter was pretty good and we were to stuffed to try desert. Being bright a large bottle of tap water was convenient for us to refill our waters. They seemed to have a large selection of meat but I was disappointed by the lack of vegan and vegetarian options and a little underwhelmed by taste of what they did have but ultimately it was a good meal and a good experience. I may give a different salad a try and sit in the outdoor area.

Can't go wrong with the Mixed platter.

Great Food. Fast service. We did a to-go and definitely not disappointed. Flavors were on spot and forsure coming back for more.

Beautiful but casual atmosphere

Comfortable, casual, but classy atmosphere. The service was very friendly and happy to explain any dishes that we weren't familiar with. The food was amazing! I wish I took more photos. We started with the babaganoush and tablouli salad. My husband had the lamb kebab and I had the chicken kofte. Everything was so flavorful and tender. I have no idea how to spell the dessert we shared, but it was like a non-crunchy creme brulee. SO GOOD, light and refreshing. Highly recommend this place.

Had lunch today with 7 women and I have to say it was extremely pleasant and food was great...I recommend for you to try...

This was my first visit to High Mountain Mediterrean Restaurant. It was a Sunday at 5pm. I proceded up the stairs as the sign stated. Being the first one there, at least for dinner, I was offered any seat I wanted. I selected tap water and ordered the Chicken Kofte Kebob. I enjoyed my meal while listening to Turkish friendly music, including one hip hop tune and also listening to how the place was packed not that long ago. The chicken was tender and mildly spicy with tasty vegetables and rice. The bread that preceded it was soft and favorable as well since I finished it off.

Haven't been here in awhile so figured I'd give an updated review…read more Had to find parking in their additional lot across the street. Restaurant wasn't packed so we were able to seat ourselves quick. They have music playing but also have tvs on. They have updated to digital menus. They bring the sauces right at the start for the table. The server was great, very patient, and attentive. We ordered one drink, calamari, ceviche, and whole chicken with fries and comes with a salad. Calamari was really good. The chicken was tasty. The ceviche was also good and despite it being later in the day it tasted fresh. The drink was also good. Chicha was good. The fees in this place add up quick. They automatically add 18% gratuity to every check. They also add a service fee. Was the drink worth 20?! I mean it was decent but that pricing is crazy! Food was good but just be ready to pay. I've said it before Peruvian food can be expensive.

Ordered takeout with coworkers... originally ordered the tallarines verdes with chicken, but my…read moreorder came in as the tallarines a la hauncaina... though I wish I had gotten my original order, I got to try something new! It tasted mild, and very cheesy which is unfortunate because my lactose intolerance was not happy... but the chicken was nicely grilled and seasoned! There's a lot of Peruvian places in north jersey, so although I'm not sure I would order from here again, I am glad I got to try a new dish.
