This place is a wonderful place to get all your vape and CBD needs along with a huge assortment of other great products. The staff is wonderful, friendly and always there to help you with questions or concerns. They are a unit of employees that seem to really enjoy each other's company which makes the store even more inviting. I believe it has the best selections of everything you need within the Columbia area. Def a great place, I would suggest this establishment to anyone! My name is actually Elizabeth M. I hail from the D.C. area and I am new to Columbia. I can't seem to change the Jon K. name on the account, any suggestions? read more

"High On Life," smoke shop, excels as one of the top 10 businesses in the state of South Carolina for customer service, no restaurant, hotel or clothing shop, anywhere else, comes close!!! Why am I saying that? I spent $83 dollars there last week (April 27, 2026, to be exact), and I was given, for free, $150, of smoke shop merchandise, that includes, THCA sugar cannabis gummies, hash, cannabis rosin, cannabis flower, a beautiful 2 tone tan t-shirt with a Los Angeles cannabis company artwork on the front, a black baseball cap with the "High On Life," logo on the front, a black permanent (made of sturdy cloth) shopping bag with 2 long black straps as handles (also featuring the "High On Life," logo in white lettering. This smoke shop is double the floor space of any other smoke shop of its kind, a huge store, that has the "Baked Bear Ice Cream sandwich shop, as its next door neighbor (yet, another 5 star shopping experience). The "High On Life," smoke shop, specializes in top of the line cannabis products, nicotine vapes, psychedelic mushroom candy (a heroes dose), pipes, clothing, and accessories. read more

This must be the last stop for stupid before living under a bridge or something. One out of 10 people in there know the first thing about their products, most of them rude to the point that makes you wonder how they were raised, and 9/10 act like they hit the pipe too hard for too long. Whatever I need is always out of stock, super glad there are more options than ever in Columbia because these idiots aren't getting my business again. read more

In case they don't tell you which the girl that checked me out didn't. Glass is final sale and don't trust them to know about things either. Came in there with the broken piece to my bong, girl sized it and told her I trust her and got home n it doesn't fit. I called and the manger said that glass was final sale which the girl should of told me before I bought it and that I couldn't get my money back but 15% off any items since they don't even have the size I need. Another girl tried to tell me that I should of made sure it was the proper size myself and I was like that's what I did when I got joke to check and the pieces didn't fit my bong....Customer service is clearly trash since they must be in the right instead of the customer. Now I have this useless piece. Very disappointed since this was my first time here as well. read more

Went here for some very simple coils for my vape, these guys acted like he knew what he was talking about, said he didn't have exactly what I was looking for but guaranteed me it would work- went home and tried them out and they weren't even close to working. The people that work here are absolutely clueless, oh and when they fu$# up and give you the wrong thing... NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES. This place is a joke, do NOT come here there are much better head shops and vape shops in Columbia! Save your $ I won't be buying anything here ever again!! read more

Awesome place. FRANK is the greatest. I will be a long time customer. They helped me narrow down my purchase and gave a lot of info. And their prices are just right. read more

This is hands down the worst shop in Columbia. I bought a $15 slide, and a shitty one, because I really needed it and I was willing to pay that for a sturdy one. When I got home I took the price sticker off and it was cracked. I took it back not an hour later, unused, and just asked for an exchange. The cashier refused, and even called the cops when I told him he had bad glass. He banned my friend and I, but it doesn't matter, they would have kept selling me crap for exorbitant prices regardless. Please do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Really, you should start smoking black&milds from the Exxon before you go here. These people cannot do business and are detrimental to our society NEVER GOING BACK EXCEPT TO DETER CUSTOMERS. read more

my nephew went in for a replacement mod was told by clerk the one he chose for him was a one size fits all...came immediately home..did not fit...was back in shop inside of 30 minutes..all he asked for was a refund to purchase a replacement that actually fit...was told ..so sorry...evidently the one that fit was16$ cheaper...so she wouldn't give him his 16$...after some heated discussion..and her making a phone call...to someone...we have no idea who..because she claimed she was the manager...she gave him a 16$ gift card...bad business...bad attitude..now he has a gift card at a shop he really doesnt shop at... read more

Walked in expecting to only find a 14ml banger, didn't see any readily available. Penny right away searched to find the available 14 ml heads allowed and found a a perfect fit. Ended up buying a tool as well! Great customer service and a very friendly atmosphere!! read more

WORST! As soon as the owners changed up, they let that old manager with the dreads redo the WHOLE place, then fire him, keep the employees HE hired, and deny him unemployment. the new managers are no where near as nice, nor know how to run a proper business. if you like to be taken advantage of as a customer, or even just a human being, High Life is the place for you!! they also dont teach their employees about their products, so you have a bunch of inexperienced, knowledgeable employees trying to run a business with a bunch of fake glass, and bad attitudes. Anyone can look and see why they only have one star. read more

Went in to buy new atomizer for my vap machine. Employee knew very little about the selection and kept apologizing that the vap area was not his "Strongest dept" I was ready to spend up to $200.00 on a new vap machine but he could not find a machine that he had coils for. I really liked the store but the help is no help. Spent 30 minutes in the store trying to make a purchase and still left without buying anything. Employee knowledge is poor. Friendly place but it appears the employee has done to many drugs in the past, Sorry, just a perception. meant to say the employees need more training on the products they sell. I think he said his name was Frank. read more

I have never been so disgusted with customer service in my entire life! I called the shop to ask if they sold vapors and the store clerk hung up in my face. When I called back again to make sure it wasn't a mistake the same clerk hung up again for the second time. I went to the shop to confront the manager about the situation and she was just as rude and beyond disrespectful. Believe it or not, but both manager and staff laughed in my face while we disgust the situation... For a customer to follow behind me just to apologize for the disrespect that they've witness should say a lot! read more

Really not a bad smoke shop at all if you ask me. I've spent a little bit of money here. The glass might not all be the best, but you can find some cool pieces, no toros though. Main thing for me now is their vape stuff they do have good juice read more
