I recently managed to buy some elusive go gos here when there were non to be bought anywhere else (and elevated myself to hero status in the eyes of my eldest!). Staff are helpful and friendly and provide good customer service and prices are as good as anywhere else! The only downside is that it is tucked away at the end of the high street and consequently is very easily missed!

They also do the lottery and scratch cards and stock a decent range of food. They also sell beer wines and spirits. There opening times are from very Earlie in the morning until 11pm at night. The only disadvantage about this shop is they seem to run on a skeleton staff and you can be waiting ages to get served if someone is doing their lottery but the staff are nice so not all bad.

But since the Post office has moved there seems to be alot less people in the shop as the location isnt the best as its set away from the rest of the shops. But its a great shop stocking all newspapers, magazines, drinks snacks and cigarettes of course which not many places in town stock. Its recently been referbished and looks lovely inside and out. the staff are always happy and cheerful.

I once saw an excited customer filling a basket to the brim so much so that the manager said it's OK were will be here tomorrow were not going anywhere, which I thought was a lovely touch as this was his custom. The manager is always happy and smiling, he always remembers me and is glad to see me too. The opening times are not always kept to, they are a new business and are just settling in so I'm sure this is just a small glitch.overall this is a great store and is really needed in this area.
