The high pitch noise was heard by the younger guy, and the older guy said he couldn't hear it, so didn't both fixing it that issue. They used a metal trestle on my wooden floor (not laminate) without laying down a blanket/rug and it has scratched the floor. I emailed them with photos and my complaint and they rudely responded taking no responsibly and ended their email with "we consider the case closed". Absolutely disgusting unprofessional behaviour from this so called 'business'. I am now left to pay for the damage they have caused to my property, at a cost that will be more than i paid for the TV!

I left a blu-r ay player with this company toward the end of September, and was assured the repair…read morewould take less than a week. Two weeks later, I called to see what progress had been made, and was informed that the engineer would call me back. Two further calls from me, and the engineer did eventually return my call. He explained the problem, the upgrades to the software required, and the cost involved, £90 less my initial payment of £30, a balance of £60. However, when I collected the item, I was asked for £92, considerably more than quoted. I complained, and the response was, that 'if I was unhappy, they could take the parts out'. Not exactly, good customer service or an adequate response. The repair, took three weeks longer than expected, the communication was dire, and the quote I received from the engineer was worthless. No apology whatsoever! My experience with this company, would not lead me to recommend them to anyone!

Yes they use recon parts stripped from other machines, but they repaired my Mac within 10 days when no one else could/wanted to, at what I considered to be a very fair price of £320 ... much better than the £2,000+ needed for a new machine (as advised by KRCS ... who even then didn't seem bothered about advising on the best solution, despite the fact I had money to spend!) I'd definitely recommend and use again ... thanks guys!

I have had two power failures whilst my Imac was turned on (I could not get the Imac to start up again), the first occasion I took it to Mac Repair Nottingham to be told a power supply replacement was needed at a cost of £150, this job seemed to take 15 minutes whilst I popped for a coffee, on a subsequent power failure where I could not get the Imac to start a local store closer too me simply showed me how easy it is to restart an Imac with such problems (No new power supply needed) and also stated that it seemed the power supply had not been changed on the previous occasion at all. I contacted Mac Repair Nottingham who told me the "Replacement" (If indeed there was one) was in fact a refurbished unit of the same age and type as my previous one (So no way to tell if it was replaced at all). At no time whilst in the store or upon asking for payment was it mentioned that they used an old part and to me £150 for 15 minutes leaves me feeling mugged (That's £6,000 per hour then). Ask exactly what you will be getting for your quoted price before you agree and ask if new parts are being used.

Fan…read morewas replaced for £30, and was told I also needed to replace the hard drive as this was broken, at additional expense, plus the "repair and assessment" fees which brought my total to £170. I am happy with the fan replacement, as this was faulty and then fixed correctly. However upon getting my laptop back it had been given a 32bit drive (where before it was 64bit) and thus many of the laptop's original drivers and settings, which were 64bit only, did not work. The laptop also would turn off suddenly, without warning or even bluescreening, despite not over heating. I took it back to the shop to be reassessed, but despite the computer still shutting down seemingly randomly, they said there was nothing wrong with it. Having taken the laptop to a different repair service nearby (who have said they could have fixed the original issue for under £25) they are shocked at the bad install of all of the device drivers, which are not working properly at all now, and at the description of the customer service at bubbleit. I had hoped that after spending £170 I would have a fixed laptop, but it is more broken than when I first went in. Considering even taking them to the small claims court. AVOID BUBBLE IT. I WAS OVERCHARGED AND MY LAPTOP IS STILL NOT WORKING!!!
