Actually, I'd probably say that it is more of a pool hall, and there are certainly enough pool tables to go around. However, it isn't just eight ball that they offer here, they also have video games, a poker night, and have recently introduced live bands. I've also come here to watch the occasional game of football (though they generally only have one game on at a time). The also make a decent cup of coffee (as well as a nice pot of tea). The staff are also pretty cool, especially the owner, who is a bit of a character, but then again this is one of those places were you will always see familiar faces lurking around.

Sure it's an okay but, and there is a cool…read morebasement area set aside for functions, but other than that this is little more than your standard (and rather boring) suburban pub. Yep, that's right - gaming room, bistro, sports bar, and that's about it. They do have some outdoor areas - a blacony looking out onto the main road, and a courtyard in the gaming lounge - but that wouldn't be classified as beer gardens namely because they are really for the smokers. I have been here a few times, namely because I was killing time while waiting for a movie, but it was a bit of a hike, and I'm doubtful that I'll go back anytime soon.

Well, it turns out that this bar pretty much meets all the expectations that you would want from an inner-city bar, especially one located to the north of Melbourne. Anyway, when I remembered it again I decided to go back and check it out and I must admit that like the first time I came here it was still a pretty cool experience. Basically it is what you would expect from your typical lounge bar - lounges, craft beers on tap as well as a good selection of spirits, and cool, soothing music. As an added bonus this place also has a pretty decent sized beer garden out the back, though I've noticed that I lot of people end up out there than actually in the bar itself (which is a shame considering that it is inside the bar that is actually the cool part of it).
