We got to Pickle Barrel at 11:15 and there weren't many people in the dining room. By 11:35 the place was packed. We ordered a couple of Philly cheesesteaks and a hamburger. It seemed like it took a while for the food to come out, but that might have just been because we were hungry. I got a chicken Philly with sweet potato tots. The portions were on the small size, which was good so we weren't falling asleep the rest of the day. The hoagie the Philly came on was excellent. It was really soft so it soaked up all the flavor. It took the server a while to bring our check. Like I said before, the place filled up quick and there were only 3 or 4 servers on the floor. I don't come to Dublin often but I'd come here again the next time I'm in town.

I ordered at the bar after sitting down for a bit without anyone approaching me and was able to put in an order. I know most breweries operate like that, but I did see other people getting served, so that was a little interesting. The place is super clean, and the different seating areas fit so many functions. I took a meeting here and got some work done before heading out. The outside seating is nice too. This is a must try in the downtown Dublin area.

The staff was very helpful and friendly explaining the beer and food.

Didn't go anywhere else. Staff was hit and miss. A lot of staff just sitting around, "hanging out" but one waitress came over to help and we got seated. The chips and salsa were good. Unfortunately, they were the best part of the experience. I order the shredded chicken folded quesadilla with rice and beans. My wife had the steak triangular quesadilla which came with nothing else. The rice and beans were ok but both quesadillas were loaded with salt. That's all we tasted. Fair to say I don't use a lot of salt in my cooking but I wouldn't have expected that as the main flavor in both dishes. Based on that experience we will not return.

Something was off with it. My fiance has pork which was decent. Start to finish, we were here about an hour an a half. Like I said, service was terribly slow; and they weren't very busy for a Friday night. Our section was half full at best. And we weren't the only ones who noticed this. I saw a couple a few tables down from us who were also looking at the servers as each one kept passing their table. Side note: Credit card machine is fickle. We had to slide our card about 10 times before it read it. And no other place we've been to has had that problem. Definitely not the best place in Dublin. Won't be back. Three adults, a cheese dip, and four margaritas later our tab was $69. Cheese dip is around $5 and margaritas are $5.50 for a medium. Also weren't as strong as some others around town for the same/similar price.
