Unfortunately this place turned out to be a major disappointment and I cannot stress enough to…read moreother would-be customers to steer clear of here. 1) record keeping You would think any kind of healthcare facility, be it a physicians office or a massage therapy place, would have a professional obligation to maintain accurate records of what is done at each appointment. That is not the case here. They have noted that I had multiple physio appointments but no notes or record of what exercises or plan they had done. Essentially, at each follow-up it was like a whole new visit with many "what did we recommend last time?" Pathetic. 2) customer service Imagine trying to get a progress note sent to your physician. It's like pulling teeth. They promise that they will get it done promptly, many weeks later you're still waiting and after calling to inquire you're met by an abrasive and dismissive admin assistant who says no note to that effect was on the chart (see point 1). Incompetence runs very high in this place. 3) questionable billing Check your credit card statement. I have a few charges above and beyond what was agreed that "magically appeared" on my statement...these are currently in the process of being investigated by my credit card company and hopefully a chargeback will ensue. Bottom line is, there are far better and more ethical places to find in the city for physio and other allied health professionals. I, unfortunately, looked for the cheapest place and essentially got what I paid for -- a shit experience. Stay away.

Dr. Qais Janmohamed is absolutely INCREDIBLE I cannot thank him enough for helping me recover from a debilitating pain in my back that I had thought was chronic from years of injuries. But after several thorough sessions, at home stretches and exercises Dr. Qais had recommended my back was good as new and I felt like a million bucks. This clinic is clean, comfortable, easy to find, accommodating to your needs & schedule and the staff are very supportive, friendly, respectful and polite. Not to mention they offer holistic health advice and overall care beyond the chiropractic/massage services. I have never felt so acknowledged and truly heard before - they do not rush you in and out, but rather take their time to ask lots of questions to ensure that they're supporting you as best as possible. Absolutely ANYONE and everyone is treated with the utmost care including those who've had major injuries, surgeries, require specific treatment due to special need and so on. Cannot recommend this place enough! Whether you're near or far, it is definitely worthwhile to drive across town to meet Dr. Qais and his team!! Massage therapist NOT an RMT and not accredited by insurance - be prepared to pay out of pocket…read more When booking a massage, I specifically asked if the massage therapist was an RMT so my insurance would cover it. I was told yes. When I submitted the claim, it was rejected - according to Green Shield, she is NOT a registered massage therapist. I contacted Dr for Moms and they already knew this, and offered no apology or recompense. I asked for some form of compensation for the loss, and they have not responded. The massage itself was not great - she didn't seem very knowledgeable about my pregnancy-related condition, no ambiance (music, etc.), and afterwards I felt worse. Go somewhere else!

If he should move to another clinic, I would immediately drive to that clinic for treatment. I have been going to Darcy for the last 5 years. I sustained a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident and though I have chronic pain from it, regular physio helps keep me moving and allows me to do things that I otherwise would have a hard time doing - specifically my love of running LONG distances. When I told Darcy that I wanted to run a marathon, he kept me going and provided me with feedback on what types of training would be best for my body. He's excellent with all types of patients and is realistic about what will work best given your particular situation. He IS a Canucks fan though and he does give me a hard time about the Flames. Sometimes I let him get away with the trash talk, let's be honest, the Flames make it hard to defend them on occasion. I should also mention that the rest of the staff are excellent as well. The other individuals that assist throughout the course of my treatment are efficient and pleasant. 17/30

With regards to my Life Mark review, Panther Sports Medicine is where I went after I left Life…read moreMark. It was so refreshing to visit a physiotherapist who actually adjusted the routine to each individual person. Panther Sports Medicine has many locations across the city, but we were lucky enough to attend the clinic with the owner of it all, Scott. He was such a pleasure to be around too. He would talk to me while poking and prodding, and make jokes to keep me comfortable. I could tell that he really knew what he was doing. Perhaps it was because of all the letters and titles after his name! I was glad that after leaving the friendly environment of Life Mark, Panther showed me the same enthusiasm whenever I visited. The girls at the front desk were always happy to see me and remembered me by name, first and last. They actually let me take home and keep a book I was reading while having physio. I completed my physio before I could finish the book, and they said no one else had touched the book in years, so I could have it. It was fantastic. What cuties! The quality of service at Panther was exceptional. They first did an initial assessment to see where my problems areas were and went from there. I still got the heating pad (and a little nap) every time I went in, but they did so much more to my body. I had acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation, as well as full use of an exceptionally equipped gym. Panther provided regular reports to my insurance company, so they could keep their files up-to-date on my recovery as well. Not only was the treatment phenomenal, but so were the people! Panther Sports Medicine should be a top choice for physical analysis and treatment. The physiotherapists really know what they're doing, and prove that to you when they help you make a quick and full recovery.
