If you are craving ube or pandan stop at Ube Galore and try their pandan puto or the pandan bread with ube mochi! Omg amazing! You can also find local honey or bee pollen, fresh seasonal fruit, and fresh flowers! Organic Tamales with so many different options including vegan and different sauces. You can also find Fair Quality Kettle Corn and delicious Korean food too! I saved the best for last! Come hungry! Visit the Bolani table and say hello to the Flatbread Queen! The market opens from 9am-1pm and is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays with slightly different vendors during for each day. After sampling teas even more than once, I go the Lychee Black Tea - it was the freshest tea I have ever tasted and it has a nice, light fruit flavor. I also scored a huge almond croissant from a vendor. The Ferry Building is beautiful and worth a stop and has bars, restaurants, and an art exhibit upstairs. Just don't come on a weekday and expect fresh fruit.

There are also independent food stands open that makes great food and sometimes they also have caramel popcorn stands where it tastes great to bring home. Just this Saturday, Oct 10th, I did see some cute cats in cages most likely a pet adoption pop up. FYI - The streets are closed in the morning for awhile so if you need to get to businesses on B Street you have to go around to patronize them. Overall, its a wonderful addition to Hayward that still is going strong after all of these years. Just be sure to bring your own cart and bags :) I see no shortage of people doing so :)

The market has an even mix of fresh produce and prepared food. I picked up some large yellow peaches. The actual layout is not set-up well.
