Dr. Novy was new at NTAH about a year ago and was immediately available to see my dog when he was ill. I'm so glad to have found her - she matches the skill and service provided by my Toronto vet! My nearly 15-year-old cocker spaniel is in his final weeks and months, a very difficult experience. Dr. Novy has been incredibly helpful and compassionate. She's helped me make several difficult decisions and makes clear she's available by phone for medical support as needed (and I've needed it!). I'm not sure how I could have managed these last few months with her caring support and medical knowledge. She's also helped me develop a practical management plan for my dog that gives him a quality happy life while he can still have it. I do not trust vets easily, but I trust Dr. Novy completely.

September 2022. First, Dr. said it isn't a cancer. Few…read moreweeks later, the other Dr. said she think it's cancer, without any testing. Dr said she can remove Jasmine's tumor with operation. And they almost killed Jasmine with Sedative shot BEFORE the surgery . Jasmine 's heart stopped at some point but they revived Jasmine's heart. They couldn't do operation to remove her tumor and Jasmine barely survived the failed sedative injection. Jasmine wasn't a same anymore. She could barely walk and couldn't run like she was before , after their failed sedation. Dr. even said Jasmine looks like a having tumor in her mouth. ( and SHE DID NOT!!!!) and she said it's better for her to just keep as is because she is old. I cried and took Jasmine to another Vet few weeks later. There, they did blood test and other testing . Dr. M told me that she can remove her tumor and she completed surgery successfully. ・In this vet they diagnosed to cancer to my cat Jasmine without any testing. ・Dr. THINK Jasmine has tumor in her mouth when she didn't. ・They failed sedative injection and almost killed her. I don't know what was going on in the operation room. ・After that Jasmine wasn't a same Jasmine anymore. ・They still made me paid around $300 for their failed surgery attempt. It was very sad, horrifying and traumatic experience for Jasmine and our family at the New Tampa Animal Hospital. All the reasons above, I suggest not to bring your pet to this Vet.

Charlie had gotten loose and ran as hound dogs do and was hit by a van. His injuries were serious and I took him to the emergency clinic in Palm Springs (unaware of Dr. Bolos hospital). I was charged $573.00 upon arrival and reffered to an orthopedic surgeon in Tampa. This surgeon was very expensive and wanted payment up front which I simply could not provide at that time. Extremely discouraged and worried for Charlies well being a friend from worm work referred me too Dr. Bolos. The Doctor did more x rays and concluded that surgery was necessary . There was no way I could afford surgery until January when I got my Taxes Back. Dr. bolos worked out a payment plan for me and did the surgery the following day. I brought Charlie home and he doing absolutely amazing!!! He walks on all four legs ! Runs Jumps and can play!! DR Bolos is a vet that has a great deal of compassion for his patients! My dog Charlie had a bone fragment that did not show on any xrays . This bone fragment would have abbsessed and most likely caused his death I I waited until I could pay the total costs. None of the fancy, extremely expensive vet clinics ever informed of the full magnitude of Charlies injuries. They were much more concerned that with the payment of the surgery. Not the fact that my pet could die a very painful death! Dr. Bolos did and expessed a legitimate concern and did everything he could do help Charlie! Very affordable and much like the small town vets I remember from several years ago!! We first found Pasco Veterinary Medical Center when our puppy was having severe diarrhea and other…read moresymptoms that had us very worried he might have Parvo. We called multiple emergency vets and all were booked up until we called Dr. Siegel who told us to head right there. They even took great precaution to bring him through a side door and straight to a separate area, just in case it did turn out to be Parvo. They did the test immediately and we were very relieved to hear the test came back negative, so then they sent off some stool samples to try and find the cause of his problems. From the time we walked through the door the first time, everyone was so nice and knowledgeable and helpful. The office is beautiful also with hand-painted artwork covering nearly every wall and floor surface. When the stool sample results came back and still didn't show any definite causes, they had us try switching his food since his diarrhea was still just as bad. Within 24 hours of switching to the new food exclusively, his poop was completely solid. There was way less of it also, since his old food was producing a lot more waste. You can tell everyone at Pasco Veterinary Medical Center has a passion for helping animals in the most natural way possible, with the perfect mix of conventional medicine and techniques when necessary also. This is the best vet we've ever been to and we're so glad we found them!

All Labs, No Answers or Compassion--Avoid This Place…read more We were clients of Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre for over three years. Sadly, the only good thing to come out of that time was a referral to a vet who was a qualified surgeon--something this office could not provide. In all that time, we never met Dr. Hodge in person because they never allowed you in the office with your pet. We only spoke with him over the phone after he examined our dog after each visit. The last and only time we were finally allowed inside the office with our dog (in July for more labs), Dr. Hodge wasn't there. Instead, another vet was filling in. This office seems primarily focused on running excessive, expensive lab tests -no definite answers, just the suggestion of more testing and supplements. For senior dogs, they also want additional "routine" expensive labs every six months. Misdiagnosis or no diagnosis--it made no difference. There was never any resolution. If you have a senior pet, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. I had read other Google reviews stating that this clinic is unable to treat dogs with allergies, and that has absolutely been my experience as well. All they offered were allergy pills that never addressed the underlying issue(s). Near the end of our senior dog's life, he was no longer able to eat or drink without choking. Less than a week after being seen at Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre, we were rushing to an emergency vet -scared and desperate for help. The emergency vet gently informed us that our dog's condition would continue to deteriorate, and all outcomes would be the same. Out of compassion for our sweet boy, we made the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering. The emergency vet reassured us that "a day too early is better than a day too late." With tears and hugs, we said goodbye to our beloved dog of 15 years. When we got home later that morning, I called Dr. Hodge's office and left a tearful voicemail explaining that our dog was gone. I also called our prior vet of over 12 years, the dental vet we had an upcoming appointment with, and close friends and family. That brings me to today, just over a week later. We have our dog's memorial items, and we've received flowers, cards, and calls from friends, family, and even our former vet's office--who called and sent a handwritten note. The emergency vet who had just met us even sent a condolence card. And from Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre? Nothing. No call, no card. No acknowledgment of our loss. Nothing. So I called them today to ask if they even received my message. I spoke with Eniko, a vet tech. She put me on hold and then returned to confirm they had received my voicemail and the emergency vet's note that we had euthanized our dog. I was stunned by how cold, dismissive, and uncompassionate her tone was. I asked why we never heard from Dr. Hodge, didn't he care or want to know what happened? Eniko replied that Dr. Hodge likes to give people time after their animal dies. She claimed a sympathy card had been sent on July 31st. We never received it. I explained how it felt like their office only cares about billing for labs, not actually helping pets or their owners. Rather than offer any empathy, she told me I was being rude and said she would just chalk it up to me being "emotional." She even raised her voice at me. Then she offered to have Dr. Hodge call me--something I had no interest in after how poorly this was handled. I told her I didn't want to speak with either of them again, and she hung up on me. Eniko could have easily handled the conversation with kindness and professionalism. Something like: "Yes, we received your message. We're so sorry for your loss and apologize for not reaching out sooner." Instead, her tone and attitude were cold and unacceptable. Honestly, Eniko comes across as an unhappy, overworked and unskilled vet tech who shouldn't be answering phones or interacting with grieving pet owners. Do yourself and your pet a big favor: avoid Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre.

The male veterinarian that looked at my cat was nice and seemed to care a lot about what was going on. The vet techs were nice as well. Made the experience somewhat worth it.
