I do love coming here. I come here to work and it's one of the best kept secrets for free wifi in Long Beach. The drinks are super strong and a great value. I love the Macadamia coffee, but usually I get it half sweet...otherwise it's a bit too much sugar for me. However, the espresso content is legit delicious. The banh mi food they offer is great too. I usually love the food but; unfortunately ,I found a pebble in my pad Thai that left a chip in my tooth. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. My girlfriend's garlic noodles were also very bland. Food here has been inconsistent and every time I come it's some new rule they implement to save money when they already charge a lot. First, it was only filling the cup "3/4 of the way" if I asked for no ice in my drink. Next, they start charging for individual sauces on the side. I have been here a few times now since I live around the corner. The cookies and cream mostly just tastes like chocolate haha, not really oreo like I was expecting. Not to say I didn't like the drink, just not quite what I was expecting. Everything else I've had has been spot on. I'm not really a coffee drinker, but if I had to drink coffee it would probably be their house coffee as it tastes great and is noticeably less bitter than most. I had the chamoy mango slushie today and it was delicious. Could have maybe used a touch more chamoy. The banh mi is really great too. Nice addition to your order if you're also hungry. Now the steak is flavorless and the garlic noodles lacked its sweet flavor. I would've never thought to give such a low review of a place that used to my favorite. It gives the coffee a subtle sweetness and is a really good flavor. - Strawberry Twist: This is a strawberry-mango green tea with strawberry bits and mango jelly. It was a little sweet for my taste, but that can definitely be adjusted during my next visit. This drink was my favorite, especially cause it was a hot day! - Matcha Soy: I got the Matcha Milk Tea and substituted with soy milk. I'm a sucker for matcha anything and this hit the spot. The owner, the atmosphere, and the drinks were all fantastic! Next time, I want to try the Vietnamese coffee and the house coffee. Recently, we decided to try take out from this place again after a long time. To our surprise, we found out that they now only serve their Banh Mi for breakfast (a bit unexpected, but hey!). Although we were looking forward to having it, we were not disappointed because we ended up really enjoying their Popcorn Chicken and Crispy Tofu Bites, which were even better than we remembered. We also got a Taro Smoothie with boba that was so delicious and satisfying. Parking was easy as they have a their own lot and the inside had a very nice aesthetic, great for college student to study at. I thought the coffee was really good and refreshing, tasted just like coconut and it was sweet enough.
