I'm writing this after owning a home for a year. My HVAC had to be replaced the day of closing, and it hasn't worked correctly since. The upstairs still doesn't have heating and cooling properly balanced. Every "fix" just redirects it to one half of the upstairs. The unit also leaked in my attic and led to a mold issue. The "preferred" lenders they push you towards are also predatory. The lender I used matched my rate, said they would lock it in, and then did not do so and almost caused the deal to fall through. The only thing they have going for them is that the customer service is reasonably good. However, the fact that I am still having HVAC issues makes me question the quality of the vendors and contractors that they choose to do business with. read more

Worst builders ever and the response provided to my 1 star rating is a bunch of lies . I never requested contract extension except one time 2 days before closing and it was denied . I also never requested any special accommodation as they say. All this is a bunch of lies. This builder doesn't know anything about family values or customer service or helping families buy their dream home . Horrible customer service and beware that they also own Genesis Property Management which is our HOA. I think that is so unethical and definitely a huge problem. They never respond and never take care of the things that they are obligated to do per the HOA. I would never buy a HHHunt home again. You want some emotional distress in your life? I agree with the 1- and 2-star reviews. I was assured that the home would be completed by late March. Made arrangements for a job transfer around that time. I ended up having to stay at a hotel for April and now May at about a $1000/week. I had visited the site to see if any progress was made and there were no work vehicles indicated no urgency. I also agree that the appliances the development sold or came with were sold to the homeowners with an upcharge. Some appliances were $600 over retail. Do not buy a home with them. I have had the worst experience Ever: from a irrigation system that cost me thousands of dollars to flooring that I didn't ask for being installed and they did nothing about it to my dinning room light being installed wrong. I am a first time homeowner and I hate the experience I've had so I will not purchase another home with them if I have a choice and my neighbors have dealt with similar issues. read more
