Hey Cookie continues to deliver heavenly cookies! I've been a fan for several years, but recently Hey Cookie did a birthday delivery to my office (thanks Christa!) and it keeps getting better. All of my colleagues were blown away by the deliciousness of the cookies and the Christa's unending cheerful spirit. They have a wide assortment and the most amazing part is each one is delicious - even the Vegan one! (clearly I am not a Vegan) All cookies are made from scratch with the best ingredients by Christa herself in her very own kitchen. Can't get much more authentic than that. As a fellow baking enthusiast, I'm SO impressed anytime I see someone take a leap of faith and make baking into a real business. Ms. Hey Cookie is my new hero! Not to mention that she makes THE most amazing cookies. Last night at a Yelp event I tried an Oatmeal Butterscotch Chip Cookie, a Brownie, a Rice Crispy Treat, and most importantly, a gluten-free Peanut Butter Cookie. I'm not normally a peanut butter cookie fan, but I've been fantasizing about that cookie since I had it. Everything was delicious, but the Peanut Butter cookie was CRAZY DELICIOUS. My husband is a huge cookie fan/monster so I thought it would be great to have a cookie platter at Thanksgiving dinner. I called Christa a couple weeks ahead of time to find out if she was selling cookies in the park. Of course, it was 50 degrees and rainy so she wasn't selling cookies in the park. I really wanted to sample flavors before making an order so she made me a little sampler of a few different flavors. She is such a sweet girl. Oh my gosh, the cookies were so delicious. I have a huge family and we had 35 people. I got 2 cookie platters, approx 150 cookies. We had pies, cakes, cheesecakes and people barely touched them. The cookies were completely gone. The entire evening people kept asking, "who made the cookies?" My sister even got out her ziplock and started filling up her bag to take a few home. We had chocolate chip, mint chocolate, toffee, peanut butter w peanut butter cup, brownie with toffee topping, mexican wedding cookies, and rasberry lemon bars. All were soft, buttery, and delicious. I highly recommend getting a cookie platter or tin. It's the perfect type of dessert if you are having a party. Something easy (not messy and you can eat it standing) for people to pick up and the cookies are small enough that people can try a few different flavors. Love these cookies! read more

They were tasty, fresh, and very reasonably priced! Just FYI, it didn't bother me, but might bother some people that you must pay by check. (Although I don't live local, so I had to send it to her.) I count myself very lucky to work weekends at a local business that gets a regular visit from the delightful Christa, whereby she bestows upon my colleagues and I towering stacks of cookies and sweet treats. It's impossible not to be completely charmed by the unique presentation of the baked goods which are hand-delivered on a tray by Christa styled in various vintage fairy tale looks. We bid on these cookies for a fundraiser for the Monroe Elementary School and boy oh boy - these were delicious! We contacted Christa during this shelter-in-place time of COVID-19 and she was able to bake us a fantastic assortment of the most delicious and beautifully presented cookies and awesome rice krispies bar the same day. The presentation was cheerful in two beautiful white bakery boxes, the packing paper was colorful and the two boxes were tied together with an upbeat orange ribbon. Hey Cookie! had to be one of my favorite vendors at the recent Yelp event. First of all, Christa is so awesome. She really got into the spirit of the event and dressed the part. She had her giant basket of cookies and she let us sample more than one (oops!). She had a huge variety including brownies with mint chooclate or toffee, rice krispie treats, and various cookies. My personal favorite was the toffee brownie-- it had just the right amount of toffee sweetness, and the yummy chocolatiness that comes in the perfect brownies. After talking to her a bit, I was sad to realize that she's based out of San Francisco, so it'll be a little harder to get more of her yummy desserts, but honestly, its worth it! #Yelp100Challenge read more

On a hot sunny day in Dolores Park, I look forward to Miss Hey Cookie in her cute dress and pig tails coming by with her tray of awesomeness. Everything is freakin' fantastic. My favorite is the Mexican wedding cookies, but very close seconds are the chocolate chip cookies and the brownies. And she is so sweet (like her cookies). Less of a salesperson than a cookie confidante, treating her customers like friends. She is fast becoming a San Francisco icon (I heard someone is planning to be her for Halloween!). we got the snickerdoodle, oreo, and lucky charm treats. they were incredible! all of them were tasty and super sweet (great for the munchies) the lady selling them was super pleasant. we only bought three, but she ended up giving us five! i hope to run into her again soon the next weekend i come here. only worry is that there may be desserts that she has with peanuts and there's not much in the way of cross-contamination when we had them. she was able to give us some from a separate bag from her basket, so we got lucky! read more

I emailed Christa this morning at 9am and she personally delivered a tin of cookies to the financial district by 4:30 - same day! Wow. I am so impressed with Hey Cookie! I wanted to deliver my friend something very special for his milestone birthday but kept striking out (i.e. Doughbies doesn't deliver on the weekends, Anthony's wouldn't pick up the phone, etc.) so I stumbled across Hey Cookie via Yelp. I texted Christa at 8am to see if she could help out and deliver that same evening, and she responded promptly with what I'd get and a quote. No back-and-forth, just what I needed. She communicated throughout the day to let me know what time she'd deliver (to the Mission) and promised she'd send a pic of my buddy with his big 3-0. She took a video and sent it!
