Some teachers in this school actually make sure their students feel welcome in this school, like Janice Keaton that teaches us things. Some of the security gaurds have a authority complex. Ms. Angela is very rude to students and doesn't here us out. Otherwise she is talking to the lids that she favorites. The security gaurd that also doubles as the baseball coach is also bery rude and makes students feel more like gum under his shoe than actual people. The dress code also is discriminatory towards the women students in the school. They worry more about how short their shorts are instead of the teachers that make students hold their bodily functions to wait for everybody to finish their test. I hate this school.

During the independent study program, my boys were just a number and passed along with claimed expectations that were not being met. However, I am giving them 5 stars because their Homeschooling program is the BEST! It allows us, the parents, to put them in the programs they will excel in. It allows the parents to teach. It allows educational funds so the parents can hire tutors that come into the home or meet up someplace nearby. There are monthly field trips. ABC MOUSE, annual passes to discovery cube or zoo (and other places like that). You can literally put your kids in boxing and the school will pay for it under the PE subject. For those that want more for your children, try homeschooling!

When I had questions they were answered with kindness and everyone has a great attitude. The special education department is really good. It is amazing to see how the students and staff treat the kids who have disabilities. I've been to a lot of schools where the special education students are shunned to a corner of the school. Here the kids all eat together in the same area and are well received. On the physical education fields the kids all get along well. Middle school is a hard age for kids and it is nice to see a clean campus where everyone seems friendly. I was walking out of the gate and some of the students asked if I needed help because my hands looked full. It was nice to see the respect.

The teaching curriculum is that of one that was simply taken from online and there's no creativity or hands-on learning experiences. They fire most of the school counselors especially if a student is bonding with them in a healthy way, and they do not know how to handle a crisis such as a school shooting, or a threat of.
