I don't usually write long reviews, but these guys deserve one…read more First, I want to personally thank Brian Breiter and Jeff Twomey for everything they did for me. My life changed when I was attacked and bitten by a German Shepherd at a Starbucks in San Jose, California. The dog severely injured my right forearm, leaving me with scarring, ongoing pain, weakness, and problems with sensation and strength in my arm. Beyond the physical injuries, the experience affected me emotionally and left me with a fear of dogs. These are things that don't simply disappear when the wounds heal. My case was far from easy. It took almost five years and eventually went all the way to a jury trial in Santa Clara County. I learned firsthand that proving someone's pain, suffering, and long-term injuries in a courtroom is not as simple as people might think. Let me tell you something about these gentlemen. Brian and Jeff are not just ordinary attorneys. These guys are top-notch trial lawyers who know their profession inside and out. They are the kind of lawyers who are willing to walk into a courtroom, stand before a judge and jury, and fight for their clients. What I respect most is that these guys genuinely care about their clients. They are not the type of lawyers who simply sign you up and leave you wondering what's happening. They put in the work, and they stood by me through a difficult case. You see attorney advertisements everywhere these days, on billboards, freeways, television, and social media. There is nothing wrong with advertising, but to me, what matters is what an attorney can actually do when it's time to stand in front of a jury. That's where real trial experience matters. I also respect their involvement in the trial-law community, including ABOTA, the American Board of Trial Advocates. To me, what really matters is the experience and dedication they bring to the courtroom. My case taught me that going to trial is not easy. There are motions, evidence, witnesses, legal arguments, and rules that most people never understand until they experience them firsthand. A jury ultimately makes its own decisions, and no attorney can guarantee an outcome. Something else came out of this experience that I never expected. As their client, I became genuinely interested in learning about the law. I started paying attention to court procedures, legal arguments, and how attorneys prepare and present a case. The more I learned, the more I realized how much knowledge and preparation this profession requires. I have a great deal of respect for Brian and Jeff, not only as attorneys but also as people. They treated me with kindness and respect, and I appreciate that. What means the most to me is that after nearly five years, I don't just walk away with respect for the work Brian and Jeff did. I walk away with genuine appreciation for the people they are. I hope to stay in touch with both of them, and perhaps one day learn even more about the legal profession from their experience. To anyone looking for serious trial lawyers, I would absolutely recommend speaking with Brian Breiter and Jeff Twomey. Thank you, gentlemen, for everything. God bless you and your families. **Five stars from me. Well deserved!**

My husband called a bunch of lawyers and set up meetings all over town. Everyone wanted to take my case, but we went with Brian and his team because, right from the beginning, I could tell they were professional, kind, and genuinely felt bad for what had happened to me--ruining my face and causing a traumatic brain injury due to the city's negligence. A couple of months ago, we started preparing for trial, and the level of attention to detail from Brian and his team was incredible. We were in constant communication, and I always felt comfortable asking any questions. I had a wonderful meeting with Jon and Annie that made me feel completely ready for trial. Thankfully, we didn't even have to go to court, as the city offered a settlement. I fully trusted Brian's advice to settle, and I'm so glad I did. It's rare to find people who are so hardworking, compassionate, and truly eager to fight for you. Every single person on that team is incredible--I would be ready to go to trial with any of them. Thank you Brian, Jon, Annie, Mark, Tatiana for all your work during these 3 years!

I felt spoken down to, as though reviewing a contract before signing showed a lack of trust. Mr. El Dabe ultimately agreed to make changes and said a revised agreement would be sent. They had every right to decline representation, but agreeing to changes, delaying the revised agreement, and then backing out because I explored another option is what actually eroded trust. Basic due diligence should not be treated as disloyalty. I never retained the firm; this review reflects my consultation experience.

I thought I was not hurt until after a week. I was in so much pain, and I was depressed for a while. I cried all day until I spoke to Sylvia. Sylvia is very calming and has such compassion. She helped me a bit with how to accept the accident, and the thing that matters is that I am alive. My case took a while, a little over a year, which I knew from the start, as James explained to me. James is a very nice person as well. He was very gentle talking to me, making sure that my feelings would not get triggered by the accident. I didn't have to do anything. All I had to do was answer the phone when Sylvia called. They dealt with the insurance and all that. I only contributed a bit when I was having problems with my health insurance. I cannot make phone calls anymore because my brain is all over the place, and guess what, Sylvia and her assistant took that burden, and they made all the phone calls. They have a team of really good doctors. All have compassion and so much understanding. My pain subsided slowly until I felt 100% whole again. My depression lessened as well. I am back to working out and started meeting people again. If I didn't meet this firm, I would be inside my place, repeating the accident over and over again until I looked old from depression. Just by me going back to running and socializing again is the biggest gratitude that I can express. The firm was able to get the maximum compensation as well. That's how I felt whenever I lifted my phone and called Sylvia. All the best Maria L.

He sought legal representation from the Law offices of Jacob Emrani because he trusted that his attorney would fight for him, protect his rights, and help him recover from his injuries. Instead he was coerced into getting unnecessary surgeries that had nothing to do with his injuries. When he was honorably discharged from the Military he only had complaints about his knee. He was told by Jacob Emrani and Associates that he should undergo back surgery and it would increase the value of his case. He was also told that if he didn't get the procedures he was at risk of losing erectile function and also would lose control of his bladder. He underwent the back surgery and is now feeling the adverse repercussions of having that surgery Let that sink in. Communication is practically nonexistent. Instead of speaking with someone who actually knows what's going on with your case, you're left dealing with what appears to be an offshore call center where nobody seems to have answers. Even worse, I was referred to doctors who I believe were not appropriate for my injuries, potentially compromising my entire case. After all the frustration, lack of communication, and questionable case management, the settlement amount was incredibly disappointing. The overall value of their services was terrible, as their steep fees completely outweighed the subpar results and poor representation I received. When you're injured and trusting attorneys with your health, your financial future, and your legal rights, you deserve competent representation and basic communication. In my experience, this firm failed miserably. Be extremely cautious, do your research, and think twice before signing anything with this firm. I wish I had.
