Not worth the effort! Too many vendors with the same thing, same prices... Nit enough variety...

It's such a large variety of things in here , I seriously never knew where to be began. But I had certain ideas in mind and I knew this was the place. They absolutely love shopping at Farmer's Market because we can find everything we need for both Japanese recreations from the grandson who lived there 10+ years and Mexican dishes we all love in one trip. I personally don't eat meat, but the selection here is excellent for the rest of the family--fresh cuts, unique ingredients, and lots of options for home-cooked specialties. The produce section is full of fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits you just don't see in a standard grocery store, and the variety inspires us to try new recipes. For us, this market isn't just about convenience--it's about creativity. Walking the aisles sparks ideas for dishes we'd never think to make otherwise, and that makes our family meals even more special. If you enjoy cooking, especially with international flavors, this is a place you'll want to explore. Whether you're stocking up for the holidays or just making dinner on a Tuesday, Farmer's Market is a treasure trove.

I don't know why, I'm just cool and mysterious like that. They didn't have the full lunch menu available today, they only had a lunch plate special. And damn what a plate it was. 2 pieces fried chicken, mashed potatoes, greens, and a biscuit. The fried chicken had a sauce over it that was very reminiscent of Uncle Lou's sweet spicy love sauce but with less of the heat. That's a good thing for our table because one of the kids is not a spicy fan. Think I'm gonna need a DNA test on that one because I don't know what's up with that. In addition to the lunch counter there is also a full butcher shop with many different cuts of pork and beef. Prices seemed pretty reasonable as well and although I didn't get anything from the butcher I'll bet it's a damn sight better than what you'll get at Kroger. Everyone we dealt with (okay there were only 2 people, the lady at the register and the guy cooking) was very friendly, checking in without a few times throughout the meal, asking if it's our first time (it was) and welcoming us. Insider it's a cute country store vibe with some various sun dried in addition to the meats and lunch counter like soap, honey, I think I saw bags of grits.....

Since I grew up a hop, skip, and jump away from Como, off of Highway 310 in Marshall County, I was eager to check out the farm store on one of my upcoming visits back home. I finally got to stop by this past weekend, and I ordered takeout for lunch on Sunday, which consisted of 4 smoked brisket sandwiches, 2 wedge salads, 2 orders of egg rolls, a basket of French fries, and 3 slices of chocolate pie. The customer service I received during my visit was superb, and I throughly enjoyed the butcher shop meets Hill Country cafe vibes in the dining area while I waited for my food to be prepared. Once I got back to my mom's house, I realized both salads came with bacon, which meant the pescatarian in our family couldn't eat her meal. Other than that small hiccup, everything else was phenomenal! My family raved about the smoke brisket sandwiches, and I really enjoyed the egg rolls, wedge salad, French fries, and slice of chocolate pie that I ate. Overall, a great experience, and I look forward to stopping by again in the future when I'm back home in North Mississippi.

I like the fresh produce however many stands have the same tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. which gets repetitive if that's not what you're looking for. Get there early because the best produce flies out super quick like fresh organic strawberries, green beans etc. Would be better if there were more food trucks available like tacos, gyros, pizza , bbq etc, those that are on site currently are a bit expensive so expect to spend $10 min on ave. There is some picnic table seating to enjoy an alfresco snack or treat, which is really nice. No restrooms on site here that I know of. I love that they offer samples amongst the vendors. The meat truck there has really good quality meat and bones for roasting bone marrow, yum! I also love the fresh juice stand. Peach-habanero, pear & lavender, and Sunkissed which is a strawberry basil ate my favs. Season comes to a close in September sadly I wish they would continue through winter with an indoor set up somewhere.
