They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. The distance getting from Santa Monica to Inglewood was worth the drive. I got a great price ($48 out the door) and since it was early there was a small wait but it was short one. I noticed the tech was efficient and pleasantly working which is always a plus. I definitely recommend this place for a smog test. It's not a STAR station which is fine as long as it's not required from DMV. I was on the road before 10am which was great because I needed to get my registration tags from DMV since they expired the next day. I was done within a couple of hours. Phew!‍

The car was towed from my mechanic to Sherif. The tow truck driver asked, "Are we towing it the Mercedes -Benz mechanic on La Brea and Centinela, because that guy is really good with these cars! The customers always give us good reports about that shop!" Upon meeting Sherif, he asked me to bring him the other original fob key even if they're not working. (I had 3 fob keys; 2 had stopped working after going through the washer/dryer by accident and the dealer charged $200 per fob.) That afternoon, he diagnosed the issue -- fuse box and struts had to be replaced. I gave him the greenlight and it was ready the next afternoon, along with the fob keys working again! He gave me a deal! Here's another important part of my experience: When I mentioned I will bring my BMW to him for service, he responded with, "No, I do not want to take away business from your mechanic." Business ethics and integrity. Much respect! Thank you to Sherif and his team for the fast and quality service, and discount. Price Point: I like the price of their gas. I don't know how they keep their prices low, but It's cheaper than the 3 other gas station that are located in the same intersection. Wait Time: Depends on the time you go, you'll might have to wait a bit. So keep calm and just wait your turn. :) Location: Located on the NW corner of La Brea and Slauson. Believe it or not, but there's 3 other gas station in that same intersection. This is a classic example of Hotelling's Law, where competitors cluster in high-traffic,, prime, high-visibility locations. This strategy captures maximum traffic from all directions, as drivers prefer to turn right, and zoning often dictates where commercial services can be placed. La Brea Gas For Thought: Love the gas prices. Only negative is that the gas pumps are kinda close to each other so you'll have to drive a little bit further from the pump to fill up your tank and would be a nice thing to do so other cars in back of you will be able to pump gas also. :)

Within just one day, Mr. Park at Japanese Auto Tech had her fixed up and even took care of an oil change. When it comes to car troubles, I usually dread the thought of spending a fortune to get things fixed, especially since my car is 15 years old. I'm always nervous that it's the end of the road for her and I'll need to start making monthly payments on a new one. But Mr. Park completely eased those fears. The owner and his workers are sitting there eating breakfast. I walk in and I say good morning. I'm here for an oil change. The owner looks at me confused like why am I here? Mumbling something at me that I cannot understand and refuses to stand up and even look at what kind of car I have. Sir do you want this Buisness? I have brought my car to him before and my previous encounter was also not a pleasant one. I was not looking forward to coming back and now I will definitely not be back. He did good work, but he was extremely rude with me and I did not appreciate that especially with all the money I paid him the first time. I was not going to make that mistake a second time so I will not be spending my money at this man's shop. I don't care how good he is with cars. I will be spending my money elsewhere where it is appreciated! Customer service is everything and if you're going to open up a shop in a black neighborhood then you need to be nice to the people in the neighborhood period!
