    Salad Bar, Self-serve

Our gang of four enjoyed our steak dinner. Friendly, attentive service. Steaks come with a single choice of side, salad bar, and bread if you ask for it. Salad bars take a lot of attention and was kept clean. We chose a Ribeye and Filet Mignon cooked to our order medium-rare with fully loaded baked potato. Seating was mostly couples and tables of four. Larger groups were in another room. Full bar. Private parking lot. Open for dinner Tues-Sunday, lunch Tues-Fri, and brunch only on Sunday. Convenient from BNA airport and The Hermitage Overall good value for a steak dinner. The steak was of very good quality and taste. Reservation is essential. Two Small Gripes: * The baked potato had the consistency of a steamed baked potato * Bread was soft like you get at a wedding at a Holiday Inn.

Went for a quick date night - hadn't been here in several years. You have to text a number for reservations which is interesting but not a problem. It was a Friday night and got a reservation the day before. It was like 3/4 full at 6:30 and we were sat quickly. The waitress was very nice, we ordered the bubble bread, and I got a 6oz filet with salad bar and baked potato and husband got the 12iz ribeye with the same. The bubble bread was pretty good, very cheesy. Salad bar here is always memorable, 40 options or something like that of toppings. My filet was pretty good, they do their steaks on the grill so there's char flavor but not much else. Husbands ribeye was more of a medium than med rare and pretty thin - same comments on the flavor. Loaded baked potatoes were huge. Steaks are probably a little overpriced but still left full and happy.

Customer Service: Good, but I wish it was easier to communicate with making reservations, etc. Inside: waitress was good, when you get put off in the cut, you kind of get forgotten about. Food: I'll be honest, the food for the price is fine? Like. The bubble bread is not good. The steak again for the price wasn't the best and i was disappointed. The salad bar is the best part of this entire thing. I loved that.

The best salad bar in Nashville.

This place is so delicious and the service was spot on. 10-10 recommend. The ambiance is also very nice and clean. Salad bar was the best in town.

Moving here from Wisconsin, this place gives us that great supper club vibe we love so much. Staff has always been super friendly. Their salad bar is OUT OF THIS WORLD. And their Sunday brunch is great too. Steaks are always a solid choice. Opt for the side of grilled asparagus. Even my asparagus-hating husband loved it! The duck wontons are fantastic-we get them every time. The tuna appetizer is also fantastic, as is the bubble bread.

Service & food were outstanding! We really enjoyed hermitage steakhouse for our date night! Being local to Nashville we've driven past here thousands of times but have never stopped for dinner until now! In a city of trendy restaurants, Hermitage was a nice chance of pace of just being old school Nashville! It's difficult to figure out how to make a reservation at hermitage steakhouse considering there's no instructions on their Facebook (no website) & no one ever answers the phone number listed on Facebook & google! The host told us when we walked in you have to text a specific number they give you to make a reservation (how would we have known this? It's not published anywhere!) But good news is we were able to walk in and kill time at the bar while waiting for a table. Julia the bartender was awesome! She had great drink & food recommendations. We had drinks & an appetizer & then our table was ready. The lamb chops & the pork chops were both outstanding! Our server Tyler was very efficient & very kind! We could not have asked for a better server! There are very few salad bar places left in Nashville & hermitage does the salad bar right! Everything on the salad bar was fresh! & the salad bar was very clean! Overall we had a great experience at hermitage steakhouse & we'll return on another date night...now that we know how to make reservations...(4 stars because of reservation hassle)

Used to be great, but we went there this September, and the quality of service as well as the food has really gone down.

I have loved, no pun intended, Just Love Coffee for years after visiting a location in Atlanta, so when I wandered over to Hermitage this weekend and spotted the sign...I had to stop by before leaving the area! Just Love is more than just coffee, even though that is what I enjoy most about them. They offer a solid variety of coffee and espresso based drinks along with a few teas and refresher style drinks. The cold brew is my go-to and I fancy it up with a few syrups and some almond milk...but any way it is served is tasty. I have enjoyed the Iced Mocha at other locations, so I imagine it is just as tasty here. For food they have a surprisingly stacked menu including breakfast and lunch, with classics to specialty items. You can get a breakfast sandwich to a few breakfast tacos or even biscuits and gravy...and if you are feeling brave, a waffle stuffed with breakfast meats and eggs topped with gravy or syrup...and that is just for breakfast! For lunch they have a few sandwiches, a quesadilla and a wrap all served with a side of chips. They also offer fresh made desserts if the cookies and other baked goods up front are not doing it for you. The space is well laid out and features a large dining area with plenty of tables and even a small bar/counter space in the nook of the front where you can belly up to the counter for a little work, coffee, food or combination of all. During my visit, I was greeted and served by the owners, a pair of sisters who are an absolute delight! While I popped by for a cold brew, I spotted a few bags of coffee beans and had to scoop them up for some home brew. We chatted through their recommendations and I ended up with an espresso blend and an Ethiopian medium roast. The one blend they recommended the most, Costa Rican, was out unfortunately, but that tells me it is a solid bean, so I will have to keep my eyes out for it! Overall, absolutely adore Just Love Coffee and so glad to see them make their way to the Hermitage area. While I do not go that way often, knowing Just Love is there gives me one more reason to spend a little bit more time in the area!

Ambience, throughout, particularly decor, especially, the restroom wallpaper but also the painted sunrise as well as the garage doors opening onto a generous patio, was fresh, upbeat and inviting. All of it is so very charming. The menu is very cool as well. We were in Nashville less than a week and we came twice. I do not recall what we ordered but it was all tasty and delightfully creative. Breakfast all day is a good fit for their offering. I know I had a breakfast casserole once, my wife ordered a cheeseburger which I finished for her. I did not sample her bagel (breakfast) but she enjoyed. Tiny biscuits and jelly were always welcome. I would go again in a minute. Overall, a highlight of our Nashville experience. Such a pleasant break from all the fast and over fried food. They actually offer salads which are scarce on Broadway (near the music scene).

It was definitely worth the wait and I will be going back again an again. Our waitress was Dane and she was very friendly and had a contagious smile. That alone made me and my guest feel welcome. I went with the traditional breakfast with French toast and added the new raspberry coffee- simply supreme. Seeing the kitchen staff working with smiles was also a delight and hearing them say Eggs Up brought back fond memories of watching the old tv show Alice. By far one of the best things was seeing a little boy come in and go straight to the counter and say Hi dad with a wave. Turns out it was possibly the head cook, who came out and gave his son a kiss. Then walked to the tables and asked how everything was- impressive! Restroom was clean. They take cash and cards. It also has outdoor seating. If you have not been there- treat yourself and go. There were no other patrons in the restaurant, however they had quite a few online orders they were fulfilling. Our food came to the table and the potatoes were hard as rock! Inedible!! I walked both plates to the server and explained the issue. He offered to remake the meals. A few minutes later, he came back out and stated "these look much better". They did LOOK better, one bite and we were ready to go! The potatoes were barely room temperature! The issue with this restaurant is they you never know what you're going to get. The service is decent but the food is very inconsistent. Some 35 minutes wasted, no meal, hungry and now have to find somewhere else to find breakfast. We unfortunately paid for a meal that we did NOT eat. To pay over $30 for something we didn't eat is ridiculous! Not sure how to resolve this. Maybe the standards need to be more strict or folks need to follow the recipe. Very upset with the wasted money and time today.

Apparently only one section of the restaurant can accommodate 8 people and we were asked to wait. Despite calling ahead and confirming there was no wait for our group. We were flexible and suggested our group take two booths side by side. And was told no. Two different server sections and "policy " would not allow the split of servers. We happily suggested two servers, two checks, at two tables. Problem solved...but was told no, citing "policy". Ok...how about those two empty booths 4 feet away from each other? Are they in the same section? Yes, but we cannot split you up because you came in as a group? "That's our policy" Again the restaurant was half empty on a Sunday during brunch. And yet they could not seat us in separate booths that were right next to each other?? My questions are as follows: 1) Are you able to forward me a snippet of this "policy" the manager spoke of? The one that says groups cannot be split up at their request into adjacent booths with different servers and checks? 2) Does this policy also state that once server sections are drawn in dry-erase marker at the hostess stand, they are immoveable and permanent regardless of customer experience? 3) Let's assume for a moment that the ENTIRE restaurant was empty, except for a party of 8 in the dedicated larger party section. Moments later, another party of 8 walks in....would policy prohibit that 2nd party from being able to sit until the first party finished? Customer experience gets 1 star. This was our 2nd and final attempt at Keke's in Mt. Juliet. The first attempt - we made it into a booth with 7 people (one on the end), but the restaurant didn't have forks. Back-ordered or something? How do you open without forks? Plastic was not the solution.
