I wanted to buy so much more but resisted, it's not exactly the cheapest place, but it's worth at least a peek to see all the fun things they sell! They also sell chocolate sardines for those who choose to avoid those fish.

Today there was a buy 2 get 1 free special. Initially the idea was to get a few as presents and 1 box for home. I did. Then I sampled one at the counter and immediately turned into a cookie monster! I took my four bags full of cookies to the car, then returned to get three more boxes. Pour moi!!! The clerk was so amused she gave me a small gift. The shop, although small, is stacked with a variety of tin boxes filled with buttery, crispy, delicious gallets. There are small boxes great for presents, as well as large ones for cookie monsters like you! Keep the tin boxes when empty, they are great for storing items or just refilling with more gallets. You can either get the regular thick crumble type, or the thin fine type which I absolutely love. Dip in coffee or black tea and enjoy! Parking is a few feet away along the river front. If you are fast you can also park just at the corner of the shop for a quick pick up.
