While touring the campus I noticed that almost everyone was extremely hospitable. I've never met such enjoyable people before in my life. The campus is very outdated as we toured two different dorms, one was TINY and old while the other was newer and spacious, Some buildings were painted while others were older and more rustic (orange looking). I think this campus really needs an update (maybe some white wash on the brick buildings) but other than that it's a pretty campus with tons of different opportunities! When we went, there were little tents set up where you could meet students and join clubs. I feel like they really have a sense of community at MSU! Also, there is a Chick-fil-A on campus that has super quick service so that was a plus! (Go Dogs!)

I will not disclose her services rendered my mini dachshund didn't give me permission to expose her business to the world...LOL Everyone was so loving, and professional there. My dogs discharged papers were full of details and instructions , including a link to a YouTube video on how to care for her at home. I'm so grateful for my dogs outcome. She is on the road to recovery. if you have an interest in Veterinary medicine , I'd suggest you try this college.

The Chief Pilot Carl and his wife was very accommodating and as they provided a room with your own bath in their beautiful home. They have two dogs, one a German shepherd that can be a bit intimidating. I was nervous since I did not fly a twin engine airplane in years but upon my arrival, I was given a study guide that was helpful and my instructor Roger was very professional. He gave me all the tools that prepared for my checkride. Roger recommended that i ride in the backseat of the Cougar prior to my first flight and it was the best thing I ever did. The aircraft Grumman Cougar is a nice and comfortable airplane equipped with a Garmin 430 and also well maintained. The Golden Triangle Airport (GTR) is literally in the middle of no where so its advisable that you have your own transportation for your own flexibility at the airport as well as your stay in the Starkville area. (Highly, highly recommended!!!) The GTR airport is a Class D airspace so you will have to talk to the tower and radar services are available, GTR has an 8000 foot runway and they have RNAV and LOC approaches. The FAA examiner is reasonable guy. I had to do a recheck and Accessible Aviation and the examiner was accommodating in helping me passed successfully a second time around. I would recommend Accessible.
