We've been…read morein business about 10 years during which our guests have loved the space, but it was in need of a refresh as any property is after 10 years! Ben took on the refresh project of changing out light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, installing a new bathroom vanity, completing a stairwell trim project and a MYRIAD of other projects. The end result was an absolutely stunningly beautiful space that our guests are raving about. Ben took the time to understand the unique nature of a short term rental both from an owner's perspective and that of a guest. That the tiniest of details are important and that things need to be beautiful, but also practical and durable. A huge snow/ice storm threatened to throw our project off schedule but he kept the entire thing on course finishing in plenty of time for us to welcome our next scheduled guest. I've already recommended Ben to a number of friends (who have all been pleased as well!) and will continue to recommend and use him myself in the future. Hire him! You'll be glad you did.

There are a few things that disappointed us in our experience. Our appointment was scheduled for 12 noon, but he did not arrive until 1ish pm. The quality of work was totally unacceptable. The wielding seams were not smooth, the spray paint ran, and both flat and enamel paints were used. We notified Mr. Avery that we were not happy with the work performed considering the amount that was paid. Mr. Avery assured us he would return in a couple of days to rectify our concerns. A couple of days turned into a week before he returned. To our dismay, the issues were not fully resolved, and we would have to rate this experience with a less than not good.
