Jordan, our Heri-Systems Technician, has been FANTASTIC and we are VERY HAPPY with the advice and services he has provided! This month, he called to advice that he would be making a visit/treatment. We discussed my concern that there was still leaves on the lawn. Jordan did not pressure me to have the service performed; instead, he asked questions to determine/evaluate the leave coverage and whether the lawn-treatment would be effective. After our discussion, I was comfortable with the lawn service being performed. read more

We had one of the worst yards in our neighborhood. We had new sod put down, look great until it was established and a huge area didn't grow like the rest of the yard. Very little grass and weeds starting to pop up. Had Heri-Systems start service now our yard looks great, even won yard of the month last year. This is a First Class Business and would hire them again. I know we have been with them at least three years, but could be a little longer. read more

I decided to hire a lawn service this year. Herbi-Systems has been great. Great job on existing weeds and fertilizer. Great communication from staff when I asked about additional services and camera footage shows my tech is doing a great job. Highly recommended! read more

Their weed service he's as good as any, but the company and administration is subpar. After missing the deadline for the lawn annual plan which I have had every year, they wouldn't let me enroll so they billed me for every individual service call. After being a customer for over 10 years they put me in collections for missing one of those bills. Pathetic. See ya, you're not the only show in town. Lemme kill your weeds. No. read more

Loyal customer for years. Horrible experience trying to clear up electronic payments after they changed their banking information. We pride ourselves on paying immediately. Instead of figuring out how to finally resolve the payment, I received non stop emails, phone messages and mail. The last was a letter yesterday threatening to send me to collections. I finally went online and paid by card but in the end I will have overpaid and will wait for a refund check. read more

Herbi-Systems is not the company to use if you expect good customer service and responsive technicians after spending well over $1,000 with them. This is however the company to use if you are willing to settle for nut grass and weeds taking over your Bermuda grass. read more

Herbi-Systems - Nut grass taking over Bermuda -well over $1000 spent with Herbi-Systems to prevent this. Called the office - they genuinely do not care. - Landscaping Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

A little conflicted with this review.... A couple years back I would've given the company a 5-star rating. However, over the past 12 months it has become increasingly difficult to communicate with them. My front yard was great before they began spraying and for a year or so it continued to look about the same. My yard really started to go downhill about 6 months ago and they told me the cause was an invasive insect that drains the nutrients from the grass shoots. The yard continues to worsen but they keep charging me for treatments. I'd rather not pay hundreds of dollars to have my yard reduced to dirt.... I can't get any of the specialists to call me back. I'm willing to seed or put down additional fertilizers or pesticide but there needs to be better collaboration on their end to get it fixed in a timely manner. I feel like they're just phoning it in. read more

I been having this service for four years. During the first three years my lawn got better. Lately, however, I looks awful. I contacted the company but they have not helped me. It appears that they do not care. I decided to cancel the service and look for another company. read more

My yard looks horrible after almost 2 years of services-this is my back yard. I've asked for repeat treatments and was told I was outside of the window for free re treatment. But they call the day after treating to ask is everything is ok. No its not, and how would I know 1 day after the application. Yes, dropping them for sure! read more

I gave one star because the only thing that improved after my contract was their bank account. My lawn is no better off than it was before treated. I did just as good a job with products from Walmart and Home Depot and for less money. After a while seems customer service gets frustrated with call backs from customers with complaints. The commercial said you don't have to call them, they will call you. I never received ONE call during my contract period. read more

The owner did call and yes he is the "let me kill you weeds" guy. He was very nice and apologized for his staff. He also came to my house himself to see the yard but I wasn't home. Seemed to appreciate my suggestions and concerns. read more

We have used this service for several years. Our yard was fine until our old neighbor never did anything with his yard and all of his weed seeds blew into our yard. Needed help. So Herbi-Systems to the rescue. Old neighbor moved and I got the new neighbor to sign up with Herbi-Systems. So far they are head and sholders above anyone else that we have ever used. End of weed problems. read more

They brought the yard back..but then dropped the ball and allowed my yard to become infested with Bill Bugs....If they had informed me I could have started management early and not be behind...I got them under control myself.......I will continue to use them as they are just a little bit better than the rest....but not much when it comes to pest management.. read more

Every time I see the "lemme kill your weeds" commercial, it turns my stomach. I had their service for 1 1/2 years and every time they came out I had to call them back a second time. Finally fed up with their shoddy service, I cancelled. After I cancelled a supervisor came out and reported back to the office my yard didn't look like it should after them treating it for 1 1/2 years. They have horrible customer service as I was never at least offered a refund on my last service or they would come out and respray for free. In all this time, they never got rid of the crabgrass. read more

Used then three years ago for a three application. They reapplied a fourth and I complained I did not want any more, they haggled and I wound up paying half. The next spring I came home from work and they had applied a service. I called again to complain and was told that dice I had not canceled . They then told me that when I said I did not it anymore and had not said the word cancel they just followed industry practice. They wanted me to pay again and blamed me for not canceling . I was astonished and refused to pay and made them send me a letter confirming I had cancelled all the while they acted like they were doing me a favor. read more

I used these guys for a year. They were punctual, consistent and I had no problems with them. They stayed in constant contact via follow up phone calls to make sure I was happy with their service. They did a great job, and my yard never looked better. I stopped the service to cut overhead, but I'm thinking about calling them again, as my yard could stand some more TLC. read more

Been using them for three years. The yard was HORRIBLE when we moved in. Horrible. Used a different company for the first year, but there were still weeds. Switched to Herbi Systems and now I get compliments all the time on the yard. Yes, there are occationally a few weeds, but they are quick to come out and spray again with a phone call. And I love that they always follow-up. read more

That "lemme kill you weeds" commercial is a joke. I think they are feeding my weeds. I could do better with a five gallon bucket and a weed digger. I have not had a good experience with this company, yet. My calls to their after-hours number have not been returned and my weeds are still there. I love how people complain about service when they don't get all treatments or refuse to pay there bill expect results like people that do. Herbi-systems has always left weeds in our yard. We have called them on a couple of occasions to ask them to come back. They did come back but dealing with them is a pain. The owner of "lemme kill your weeds" commercial is not a nice person, after bring lectured and talked down too I had enough. After service for 1 1/2 years, Finally fed up with shoddy service, I canceled and now believe we should have never given the 1 1/2 year of believing in them as the best lawn company in Memphis. Now I am here to say that not only do I believe we wasted money but time as well!.After treating our yard for 1 1/2 years. They have horrible customer service and the owner need's to take sensitivity course that explains how to help and talk to people, how to handle difficult situations and stop the boasting and bragging of how he is a college graduate and the company he built into a 9000 plus customer is the best. Now he has 8999!. Yes after thinking about giving another chance I called him back, and that was a mistake he continued to lecture and talk down to me and going so far to suggest I cut all my trees down if a golf course lawn is my goal. We are simply done with him and his company never to return and desire for others to research this company prior to hiring them. read more

Are these people talking about the same service??? We tried at least three other lawn care services before a Herbi Systems. Our yard was the worst in the neighborhood. We are a shaded yard and Herbi Systems was the only one that could cope with fescue. Today, my yard is a marvel. Yes, Herbi Systems cost more, but it is worth it! Whenever I was not one hundred percent happy with an application they came right out and solved the problem. Their techs KNOW Memphis lawns like no other lawn care service available in this area. read more
